This is where we will post good ideas. If we find an idea good we will put it in here for all to read! Then you can go out and spread it across gaia. So unless you are KaGurl or Kutsu_Higouri, posting in here = A big NO!

Over 5 million people on gaia. and I bet over half are mules and inactive accounts.

I agree, they should like, deactivate and account after like a month of no service, like many MMORPG's do

Hmm, so we've moved the conversation ehh? Hmm, alrighty.

And let it be known that I am more then willing to take action. I don't know exactly what page this started on KaGurl, so you think ya can give me a brief summary?
Yes. We started discussing the donation items and how they were crappy, then I brought my thoughts on how gaia would implode. Now we're discussing on what action should be taken. You might want to read back a few pages, we've only just begun.

Ahh, mmkay. I went back a couple pages to see what I could find out. Yeah, the items are a bit over-rated (Though I'm still holding out for a cow this month xD), and Gaia's grisly death is imminent unless something drastic occurs, but what could we do to change that? It's not like Gaia has a big 'ole 'Now Hiring' sign for people like us.

Or, at least, not where I'm looking.
Why look? We can be the ones that start hiring others like us. Someone has to start it! Lets make a guild for people like us then we'd all be in one place and we could spread our ideas around! I'm more then willing to run it. And we can start spreading the word that way instead of just discussing it. If not us then who?

Yes. See thats where it works out, Most people have been passive. I'd be agressive. I'd wouldn't just tell my ideas, I'd inforce them. *sighs* The only thing stopping me is the fear of loosing my favorite account.

If I could drive.. I'd march down to to that gaia place and make them listen.. But I can't drive.. So, I'll just have to wait until AX if I wanted to say anything. They should have been there more than one day this year, though. Cause they didn't go the day I did.. Cause I had no idea what day they would be there. Dx

xd Yeah, we should start like a 'march against hackers' and march to a convention they'd be at....maybe then they'd listen xp

*sighs* Unfortunatly thats not the only problem with gaia. Haven't you noticed? The rapid increase of n00bs, contant additions of new stuff, and the old falling apart. Its just a matter of time before gaia implodes on itself. The admins/mods can't handle the rapid increase and they're trying to make up for it by adding new crap. But if the old stuff keeps falling apart, and no one bothers to fix it, eventually everything will fail. Like I said its just a matter of time.

Another problem with Gaia, I want to put that in my signature, but the 255-character limit is... well, rather limiting.

You know, you think that if gaia has the time to put an EXTREMELY high limit on our sigs, that they could do something about the hacking issues? Geez.

That or my Idea of the Gaia Chaos theory could be different than what you think is the Gaia Chaos Theory.... sweatdrop

Basically My Idea of the Chaos Theory is:

One day a bored Noob started a "Slave/Master" topic and was running well for a few pages. It died, but in its wake came four new noobs to the enjoyment of "Slave/Master" topics. So each started their own "Slave/Master" topic, so now we have 5 cluttering the Chatterbox. Well those five die out and claim four new noobs each again and start up these "Slave/Master" topics. Now we have 30 of these topics cluttering the Chatterbox. This cycle continues then progresses to 155 new topics of "Slave/Master" then its repeated again and now we have 780 of the "Slave/Master" topics floating around. Then from those spawn another 3,900 of the "Slave/Master" Topics. And so on. This cycle will continue until every other topic in Chatterbox is a "Slave/Master" Topic

I agree that "n00bs" need to go get a life, "hackers" also. But there isn't a lot you can do about the prices, at least no ideas come to mind.

Several of the accounts that get banned still have those items. If they were stripped and everything from them was sold at a fair price on the marketplace, then there would be several more items. Which means the price would go down. At least for a while.

I had one idea earlier, once we've got a massive amount of people in this guild, we can each handwrite letters and send them to Gaia Interactive Inc., which is found at PMB 414, 105 Serra Way, Milpitas, CA 95035.

In the ToS, at the bottom of the page it shows their address, so if you want to go look it up there then you'll see it.

I've heard that typed letters sent to business companies, the company usually will think that typed letters represent 10 people, whereas handwritten letters represent 100 people. So if we send in a lot of those, I'm almost sure we'll get at least some response. We'll have to wait until we've got a lot more people in this guild though.

Thiese thread are a problem we all agree that. They may start out innocent, but they quickly get out of hand. I agrre that they can get up into the R and NC-17 ratings really quickly. Here might be a possilbe solution.

Many of us might remember certain threads call "highest donator contests." You know the person that donates the most get the item being given away. I myself exposed multiple ones of these as scams, including the imfamous Ninja Headband highest donator contest on multiple occasions. Eventually the admins banned highest donator contests cause the possibility of it being as scam was probable cause enough to get them banned. So why can't we do the same thing about these slave threads?

I say we collect evidence. Lot and lots of it. Present a case showing that these slave threads often if not always end up with R/NC-17 content to the admins. If we're lucky we'll win. When I mean collect evidence I mean screencap it.

Good idea or no?

I think it is a great idea. Although, I think that when we do it, each person should look for certain things, or have groups of people look for certain things so we aren't all looking for the same thing. We need to find as many things as we can to get rid of these places.
