Are we referring only to Gaia hackers? 'Cuz I'm kind of a hacker myself, but only in the sense that me and my friend like to hack each other's computers to screw with each other's heads.
....And hack through the school's proxy protocols so I can post in the middle of class. xD

I know what he's talking about. That kind of hacking is simply fun and games, although a lot more serious than Gaia hacking.
I think if we can find a way to eliminate n00bishness from Gaia, hackers will more or less disappear. It's only n00bs who give out their passwords to get more gold or items. Eliminate the prey, and the predator dies out. ninja

well, hackers are more dangerous than noobs in either case. but if you talk of that type of hackers you posted pm's of, thats nothing really but a thing to laugh.
my friend knows some turks that have some hackign systems (he now knows how to hack a little).
see, they put the hack in any file, photo, game, whatever. the file will reach the hacked fine, but as soon as it does, the hack sricks to your hard drive, and you will never realize. now, doing that the hack will tell the hacker everything the hacked types, at what hour, what clicks he does and take photos every 5 minutes. what is more, it will give the hacker useful information about the hacke dcomputer, enough to hack into the hacked computer using some programes.
that are the hackers i fear, but gaians hackers are really noobs.

The worst part of it, is the fact that they take the money of others when those people had taken all the that time to get that money or the items, or donated money to gaia to get more items, and then all of it is gone, because someone decided they didn't want to take them time or spend the money to get the gold or items. It is annoying...

If you hack your friends' comps and they hack you back for fun I don't have a problem with it. My problem is with hackers in Gaia AND Maplestory stressed I HATE MAPLE HACKERS.......Okay I'm done venting now xd sweatdrop

I would never attempt to hack Gaia. (Or Maplestory, if I ever get around to playing it >.<) It's pointless, and would make all the time I've spent beforehand worthless.

Mostly what they do is either make fake login pages to trick someone into putting their name and password in, or they send you messages about them being some uber-awesome mod or something and going to get you if you don't reply with your name and password.

You would think that hacking would get less and less if people were giving out there passwords and usernames since on every single page when you are in your inbox, it says NOT to give out your password! Although, I guess some people aren't that bright....
