Plot!

Long, long ago, and very far into the mystical east...there was a strong tension between the elves, dragons, vampires and an odd race called Shizen. Shizen were somewhat like humans, except they were more in touch with nature. Thus, they have developed animal-like attributes.

And yes, there were no humans. The one thing they all agreed on was killing any human that stepped foot on their land, to make it seem cursed. Simple humans, believing such foolish things. Why did they do this? Each race has had their own bloody conflicts with the humans. It was purely over greed; contrary to the fact that their tension is because of boundaries.


Zeriox, a young feline Shizen, had wandered into unclaimed territory. Tension had reached it's climax, and all clans were ready to fight to the gruesome death. He was said to be taken from the forest and killed. Thus, the Shizen started accusing the other races, and a large war broke out.

A group of holy warriors, called the Twilight Allegiance, was composed of skilled, martyrs that sacrificed their lives to bring the land to peace.

This peace was only temporary, sadly....

Twenty-Seven hundred years later, that same, ancient tension was ressurected in the Land of Magic. Yet, this Tension had been developed because of the darkening. The land has been divided into five sections; Vampires to the south in the darklands, Dragons to the north in the elemental moutains, the Elves in the center of the land, where the forests grow lush, and Shizen towards the Eastern coast where nearly all of the features in the land are gathered together. To the West coast.... Oh, this land was dangerous. This is where Zeriox had dissapeared, and where most of the bloodshed had taken place. A dark cloud hangs over this rocky crater is.... Towards the ocean on the Western coast was a large, dark volcano.

This volcano is truely cursed. Not like how humans say things are cursed, but this moutain was invaded by evil spirits.

Before the Dragons, Vampires, Elves or Shizen came to this land, it was darkened just as the Western coast was. This era was called 'Eien no Kage' in the 'Ancient' tongue, or 'The Eternal Shadow' in the modern one. The same goes for the 'Twilight Allegiance'. Their true name is 'Reimei no Chuusei'. Most people don't call them that, only the scholars and fellow members of the allegiance do; yet, in the ancient writing, it is still printed on their robes or equiptment. The ancient writing is still used commonly.

Toward the end of The Eternal Shadow, the original Twilight Allegience each weilded one elemental stone; fire, water, lightning, lunar, solar. These stones were used to seal away the dark spirits for all eternity....

Yet, an odd force had stolen their stones from each point of the continent, and attempted to destroy them. Yet, little to his knowledge, the preist's souls had been sealed into the stones as long with the darkness.

This would be his downfall.

Within several small cities, spread all across the land, five young men and women set out on a quest. Unknowlingly, they shall all meet before they know it....

He wears a deep blue, long-sleeved shirt that shows his mid-drift. His arms are covered by brown gloves that have buckles and holes running down the front of them. His pants are a light khaki color, and his ankle-length boots are the same dark blue as his shirt. Covering his shoulders is a long black cape that is held together with a silver clasp.

Personally, I don't really want to see pictures for appearance.... Unless, of course, it's your own custom picture you must attach because your character is detailed. But, I don't really care. Just what I'd like to see....

Shizen//

Nature. The race was named this because they are in touch with Nature, more than the elves.

Eien no Kage//

The Eternity of Shadow. The name of the darkest time period of ‘The Land of Magic’, which is repeating itself ever so slowly; is now called the ‘Rising Darkness’.

(The) Land of Magic//

The land was never officially named. In the ancient time, when the ‘Ancient Tongue’ was used commonly,

Chishiki//

Knowledge. The ruins are named this because they contained much knowledge on the Ancient Civilization. Many have tried to enter the ruin’s lowest floor, yet it is said to be impossible.

Kiri//

Mist. The village had been named this because it was hidden in the mist of the Western Coastline.
This village is the one most intact with the Ancient Ways.

Tetsugaku//

Philosophy. The dominant elven village of the elven forest. All records ever made in The Land of Magic are stored here, and many philosophers come here to try to find the truth behind their philosophy.

Kunou//

Anguish. The town is named this after the prince of the dragons had been assassinated here ten years ago, when the Darkness had started to spread again. Nobody talks of the prince here, nor of the dragon race at all; despite the fact that the dragons had forgiven them nine years ago, after the murderer had been found.

Himitsu//

Secret. The village is home to half-breeds, as for they are not normally accepted in many other places. They are mainly Elven//Shizen, though there are some Vampire half-breeds. The leader is half dragon, half some other mysterious race, just like his advisor.

Sage Skies//

A village with a name in the Modern Tongue. It is not the only village that is letting go of it’s ancient ways. A village of the Shizen.

Hokiri

A small village that despises Dragons and Vampires. A village ruled by the Shizen.
Reimei no Chuusei

The Twilight Allegiance. A group of Priests and Clerics that claim to have the ability to destroy all evil.

The Volcano

The lair of the ‘Dark One’, the one that caused the ‘Rising Darkness’.
