What do you think of the genocide killings in South Africa? It personally hurts me to see such things, and the fact that the goverment has ignored the people of Africa for such a long time, simply because of the color of their skin. When Kanye West said, "The goverment does not care about black people." I knew exactly what he meant, not just here in America but all over the world. Also when the U.S. goverment let over millions of mexicans come in to the U.S. illegally, and than Bush making a comment stating that they are just looking for jobs, and need to take care of their children. Ok, I understand that but what about the people in Hati, Uganda, or even the American south, don't they need help? Does he know that American children, especially African American children are living below the poverty line? What are your thoughts on this?

It does make you wonder ...just like Oprah building a school in Africa and white people were upset that she didn't build a school in the U.S....come on....they should know why..Africa is alot poorer than us they need schools more than we do..we take education for granted when African kids want to learn..while American kids wait for another day outta school..dont'cha agree?

I totally understand. But now, though they are discussing it, they are referring to South Africa and Ethiopia as where ALL black people come from. This has spurred racial stereotypes like saying that all african languages involve clicks of the tounge. That is so wrong. Freedom of speech is one thing, but using the problems as another way to attack the African-American ((and/or island black people)) background is just too far.
