There are two basic types of vampires, although one has to have two sub-categories. sweatdrop As with anything else, categorizing these 'mythical' creatures can get a bit... complicated.


1. Classic Vampire- Sleeps in a coffin during the day, is out all night hunting people for it’s sustenance. Is ‘undead’ and can ‘live’ for thousands of years as long as nothing kills it first. Sunlight will burn a Vampire, and will kill it. Older Vampires will die slightly slower than younger Vampires in the sun, and ancients can even stand to be in direct sunlight for a few minutes without much damage. A wooden stake through the heart will kill a Classic Vampire and garlic will ward of a Vampire. Holy water will burn a Vampire and they cannot enter a home without being invited inside. One is turned into a C.V. by being bitten and drained within a drop of all your blood, then feeding off a Vampire. Your body then dies and you are ‘reborn’ as an undead creature of the night. Vampires choose whom they wish to ‘turn’. Most C.V.s have a code of ‘ethics’ that they do not turn any that cannot take care of themselves i.e. anyone that is too young to be on their own as a human. C.V.s are territorial and will kill an intruder on their hunting grounds. It is said that if one fornicates with a vampire that one will turn into a vampire, or that one will die, depending on the source. Some insist that if you fornicate with a vampire, and are fortunate enough not to be sucked dry or turned, then you may have a child that is half vampire, half human- a Dampiel/ Vampiel

2. Modern Vampire- These modern Vampires come in two basic varieties, and are the only one that I can say 100% are real without any worry of argument. The two types are those that suck blood, those that feed off of energies. These vampires are not ‘made’ as the other type is, but instead is born what they are and ‘awakened’ later on in life to their true being.
a. Blood suckers- These vampires are people that enjoy drinking other’s blood. Many use razor blades or knives to cut open another and then they drink their blood. Most of these people insist on using a tool to cut the other, for biting can be messy and leaves worse scars. These people usually are very close to their blood donors and usually know them intimately.
b. Psychic vampires- These are people that claim to be able to feed off of other’s energies. Many of these people absorb energy from the people around them, most preferring to take energy already let out by the host. These people draw the ambient energies into themselves to give themselves energy and to function. Others prefer to take energy directly from a person, sapping them of their energy.

Most vamps only drink blood fresh... like right out of the person fresh... my ex was one in this catagory... so I have pretty first hand knowlage of this one sweatdrop

O.o Weird... most won't drink from themselves... somthing about eating your foot to keep from starving... just does not make sense...

Agreed. In general, psy. vamps don't take without asking, but as with anything elce there are exceptions to that rule.. unfortunatly some people don't follow common courticies >.<
And yes, school is an interesting place to mix people up like that lol.

Ah. It's common for them to have that happen to them... one day he'll run into someone stronger and get a taste of his own meds... THEN he'll stop doing that and either start asking or start colecting ambient. 3nodding

actuley, what works best is a psychic glimory, make yourself look like your really weak and lacking in energy, then they won't go after you. 3nodding
