Brandon's newish back piece that can be seen in the Anna Molly video is very impressive. I find it a bit creepy but it fits him(rather the "new" him).

Cool topic. This kind of stuff is what this guild needs. Besides... Um... members who participate.
Currently my body is a blank canvas, but I'm not going to say that getting tattoos is out of the question. Honestly, reading "White Fluffy Clouds" is what made me concider it at all... Talk about peer pressure.
I've only really seen Brandon's and they are amazing. Once again, inspired me to think about getting them myself. Plus he makes gages look good, even if I don't understand them at all... On an unrelated note, Timmy C from Rage has pretty rediculous tattoos.
One of my best friends, also an Alex, has Brandon's arm tattoo. I think it's really cool and not at all weird. I think that design is beautiful. Then again, this same guy has a Guatamalan flag on his calf and some sort of thing with a movie camera and explosions and I don't get it on his side... He's pretty tattoo-y.
The most noteworthy tattoos I've seen, were, interestingly enough, all on former teachers. I had two Philosophy teachers that got married and had matching trees tattooed on their arms with interlocking roots. And then my Sociology teacher had a full back tattoo of an abstrack woman holding up a sun that was also like a flower... It was really beautiful.

I love tattoos. Ive considered getting one, but I have too many conflicting ideals at the moment. I have many friends who are tat artists, and theyve taught me a lot about it, but I still am holding out.
My friend David tattooed himself when he was 14...that was stupid. It looks rediculous now.
I need to check out Timmys tats, but Cedrix (from the Mars Volta), AKA God, has some very abstract tats. And Anthony Keidis has a great back piece he got from Hank S. ( a truely great artist)
By the way what do you think of White Fluffy Clouds? Oh and what is your fav Rage album?

Well, White Fluffy Clouds is basically amazing. Not only is the artwork increadably beautiful, but some of the journal bits are just... perfect. It is what made me think that Brandon is one of the coolest people ever and really made me want to be able to meet him. So yeah, I guess it is what pushed Incubus from being a great band in my mind to amazing people. Becuase I'm really into the fact that they are so multitalented. I really need to look through it again sometime.
As for getting a copy, brandonboydbooks.com sells it, but the site is glichy right now in anticipation of his next book which should be out really really soon. It's called something something murk void something... Just check the site.
Favorite Rage album is Battle Of Los Angeles. That album got me into music. Before that I thought that music was pretty cool, but not very life changing, and that album made music one of the most important things in my life. Also, Radio Free LA is an amazing album, if you can find the site that you can download it from. It's Tom Morello AND Flea with Zack and Steve Perkins (Jane's Addiciton, Porno For Pyros) doing an impromtu version of the whole Evil Empire album. A lot of people like the self titled best, but it's a bit to metally for my taste. It may sound weird, but the songs are all the same color in my head, and it's sort of a dull color... And honestly I think it is because of the mood I was in when I first heard it. I woke up one morning and put it in and was sort of half asleep and I just didn't really hear the songs, just a sort of buzzing... I mean, it is still an amazing album, but I like Evil Empire and BOLA a lot more. I know this is off topic, but how about you? Favorite Rage album/songs? How did you get into them? My favorite songs are probably Born Of A Broken Man, Darkness Of Greed, Vietnow, No Shelter, Wake Up... All their stuff... But yeah. So ******** good...

My favorite Rage album has got to be Battle of LA. It was the first album of theirs I had ever heard. My friend was in love with "Testify" and gave me the album just to hear that. Needless to say, Zack's preaching hit home as it does with so many people- and I spend a lot of time in LA. I live basically divided between the Bay Area (S.F, Oakland, and Berkeley), LA, and New York.
I also LOVE Renegades, Live and Rare, and Evil Empire. Those are by far the best albums. Rage changed my life, in helping me to find my own ways to fight for democracy and personal rights, but they didn't get me into music. Bowie and the Stones originally got me into music.
Rage is just...amazing. I wish they hadn't broken up.

Why are Timmy C's tats so amazing? He seems to be dyeing his skin a la Michael Jackson.

A while back, he had half a demon's face on his back, and it came up over his arm and stuff. It was cool. But then he decided that he wanted to be black. As For RadioFree LA. There is a website you can get it on. If I find it again, I'll let you know. Best thing ever.

I agree, Brandon's new tattoo is sweet, but looks slightly odd so close to his owl one. I'm only 16 so I haven't any tattoos yet. I think Brandon's drawing "Another" would be amazing to have as a tattoo. As for the oddest one I have ever seen, that would probably have to my friend's dad's tattoo of a smoking rabbit.

hahahahaha now thats true expression! "I want to look like Brandon because chicks love him" is another rational idea.
tattoo of the week: My friends heart on his ankle....he did it himself when he was 14 and regrets it now. Also- John Frusciantes squid tat.
