i like almost all their stuff.
but i have to listen ghost reveries just another time tho, i can't get into that album that easilly.
i really enjoyed blackwater park and damnation. altho damnation has such a big mistake on it, the end of closure is bad sad

easily one of my favorite bands. while i do play guitar and many other string instruments, i can respest the technicallity of some of their work. If youve listened long, youll know that they dont often use an open tuning(such as c which is used alot with strapping young lad). i respected their new album for this alone, as it was almsot all done in open tuning, and the solos were magnificant.

i'm a guitar player myself. and i need to say that opeth has some of the most hardest tabs i know! i can only play like one intro? (benighted)
also their rithem is something very special.

Harvest is pretty simple, and if your comfortable playing with a capo, so is Still Day Beneath the Sun. Strange chords in Drapery Falls, and the Moor is HARD!!! lol

Opeth is amazing. I don't understand why people don't like Damnation, though. I for one, love Damnation. I think it is the second best Opeth album, first being Blackwater Park. Then again, I really like Mikael's clean vocals as opposed to his harsh vocals.

Shade in the Shadow Opeth is amazing. I don't understand why people don't like Damnation, though. I for one, love Damnation. I think it is the second best Opeth album, first being Blackwater Park. Then again, I really like Mikael's clean vocals as opposed to his harsh vocals. damnation is my favorite album to be honest. but the version of closure on it rapes the whole album a bit. @The-Milo: i will try to get the tabs of harvest. (but maybe i need to learn basic stuff first? :p )
