It seems like a lot of people name their instruments. So I was just wondering who here names their flute, or any other instrument and what are their names?
I don't name my instruments, mainly because I'd forget the name the day I named it. Yes my memory is that bad most of the time.
So what about you guys? Do you name your instruments?

i dont name my flutes. personally no offesnes to anyone who does i think its stupid. but whatever floats your boat. im in love with the music i play from my flute, not the flute its self. haha i mean its not like its a pet or a baby..but that my opinion, so you know we can all have our own opinions. =] !

Well, I've named my flute Rae for fun. It just sort of brings me closer to the instrument. I name a lot of things. D:

I don't know what I'd name my flute if I ever decided to do it. Do you just pick a random name that you like or something? Sorry, I'm so clueless when it comes to stuff like this sweatdrop

My piccolo is named Poppy. One of my friends gives names to things when she forgets the real names so one day she called it Poppy and it stuck.

My good flute's name is Siegfried, but I haven't come up with a decent name for my good piccolo :[
My crapflute and metal piccolo = not cool enough for names.

.....yessssss, I love my instruments, why wouldn't I name them, my whole family has named every instrument we have ever had.......except I don't think my brother named his Violin.
