Gaia Username: MagickFaerieDust Character name: Naminè Age: 16 Sex: Female Location: The White Room in the Old Mansion in Twilight Town
Affiliation: Because I am a Nobody, I have ties to the evil Organization XIII. However, I want Sora and his friends to succeed even though I sometimes do things that aren’t widely considered morally right to achieve my means, like when I erased Sora’s memories in Castle Oblivion.
Physical Description: I have blonde hair that is a little bit longer than my shoulders. I tend to keep it swept to the side over my left shoulder. I also have blue eyes. I am a slim person.
Weapon? I don’t have a weapon, per se, unless you count my sketchbook. By drawing in it, I can alter or awaken people’s memories.
Shield, Staff or Sword? I am more of a staff kind of person.
Who are you? I am a Nobody. In fact, I’m the Nobody of Kairi, Sora’s good friend. Anyway, Organization XIII has been trying to keep me under their thumb for the longest time, but I resist their control. At Castle Oblivion, the Organization ordered me to replace Kairi in Sora’s memories. However, once I met him and saw that he wasn’t as bad as the Organization was making him out to be I put his memories back to the way they were. I watched over Sora and his friends as their memories were being reconstructed and I watched over Roxas, Sora’s Nobody, in Twilight Town from the Old Mansion. Even though I was the one who stripped Roxas of his memories before his insertion into Twilight Town, I pushed him in the direction he needed to go to merge back with Sora and eventually that’s what happened. Kairi was being held hostage by the Organization in The Castle That Never Was and I went in and rescued her. I knew my way around the place, so I helped her look for Sora. In the end, after many fierce battles, I merged back with Kairi.
Sample: Naminé sat at her table in the White Room and sighed. It looked like today would be just like any other day in Twilight Town, except for the fact that it was raining for once and she wasn’t expecting any visitors, nor did she think that anyone would drop by unexpectedly. Unless, of course, some kids from the town decided to enter the mansion on a dare. It wasn’t often that they did this, because they thought the place was haunted, but when they did it was always very interesting and she always did her very best to stir up some mischief.
Naminé pulled her sketchbook and pencils towards her and started to draw. She never really planned out what she would draw. She just drew and the image seemed to magically appear on the previously blank page. She had filled sketchbook upon sketchbook with her drawings, and liked how the books showed the progression of her skill. The earlier books were full of pictures that were, in a word, mediocre. However, the most recent sketchbook she’d finished held images that had a lot of detail and color to them. Half the time, she expected them to come to life, but they never did.
Sometimes Naminé wished they would. After all, it got very lonely in the Old Mansion. DiZ wasn’t really a good companion. Half the time, he was fiddling around with the computer that kept Roxas’ Twilight Town running and the other half of the time he was more or less AWOL. Most of the people who dropped in and out, had come to see him or to make sure Naminé wasn’t doing anything she wasn’t supposed to be doing. She figured that if the people in her drawings came alive, she’d finally have a friend or two.
Naminé sketched absentmindedly, her hands switching pencils seemingly automatically every so often as my work required a different color. Then, suddenly, her hands stopped moving. She looked down to see that she had drawn a picture of Axel. Naminé thought that her pencils had created something so detailed, that she could swear he was in the room with her. “That’s a nice drawing you got there, kiddo.” Naminé looked up and smiled at the sight of Axel. “You can have it if you want,” she told him, hoping deep down that for once someone had come to see her for no reason at all.

It's a very good application, and I can tell that you know a lot about Namine. ^^ The only thing that I want to point out is how much canon detail you went into in the "Who are you?" section - this won't hurt you, but I thought I'd let you know, in case you didn't, that some of those events might not happen. Everything in Chain of Memories stays the same. But this RP is not after KH2, rather, it's sort of in place of it, an alternate version. Anything can happen. 3nodding That said, my vote is Yes.If you make it in, you should probably read the Twilight Town thread, because we used to have a Namine. Her posts begin here.

From my experience with Naminé, she always struck me as a rather mundane character... but you've put a LOT of life into her, and I really like that. You seem to have a very good idea of the character you're applying for, and the sample is very compelling. I believe you've done a wonderful job applying for her, and I can't really see anything to nit-pick on or complain about, soo~...
I vote Yes, all the way!

Agreement: Votes Yes
Ya, this is sort of an alternate reality version of KH2, which is awsome since Namine can be with Kairi throughout the story xd

Wow! Okay, um, I love you? This is a yes. If I could say vote more than once, I would!
Basically, I love how simple your style of writing is. It's very refreshing, and I think it really matches Namine... I'm so psyched we're gonna have a Namine again! whee

Okay, so I've been battling with my sense of right and wrong for the past few days and my sense of wrong (which was telling me not to vote for myself 'cuz it was cheating) has won out.
So I vote Yes on my entry because I had fun working on it and I actually did put a lot of work into it so if I don't get in now it'll be a real shame.

I don't know if I'm permitted to do this, but so you will all know that I've at least seen this:
SQUEE!! I can't decide whether this or my Little Mermaid DVD is a better holiday present. I am very happy now! Thank you all so much for voting me in! Should I start right away, or what?
