Wow, let's see whether your spell is strong enough to actually really revive the guild~

Spells are cool, though it would be better if the Guild Captains who offered support decided to give it.
Member Guilds whose Captains and Crew are letting their membership know we exist are in a distinct minority.
We are working on changing that, but if people who said they liked this idea actually don't do anything, there's very little I can do.

the problem is that there isn't anything to do yet, thats why you don't see many people.

Don't put this on the shoulders of the Guild Caps. I can't speak for any of the others', but ours made you an Announcement.
You're the Captain of this guild. Other Captains are busy with their own guilds. Deal with yours. Here's a piece of wisdom you can apply to every situation: never name names. It applies all too well here.
What you can do is make the guild interesting, and get something started, as I stated before. You tell the other Captains to get their Members to come here, but it's an empty hole. As far as I can see, this is absolutely nothing more than an idea. Completely intangible. I don't know, maybe it's that you're a teenaged guy, but how can you just expect this to happen? You're the Captain, and you post here about once a month. Do you seriously expect everyone else - being us Mods (who aren't actually Mods at all) - to get it done for you!?
...Tough love. I adore the British, you included.

Plus, some guilds are not so easily motivated. The Finnish Guild, for example, was rather indifferent about joining this guild, and most either didn't comment or were like "oh well, I guess we can join, we won't lose anything if we do, will we?", and so on.
I agree with Veelah, this guild needs to be made interesting. We have to have some action here. Something to talk about. But, even if the biggest responsibility lies with Invictus, I don't think he's responsible for it alone. We all have to contribute.
...and I have been so inactive lately... sweatdrop

We're members. He's the Captain. We will follow his lead. It certainly isn't up to us to build his guild.

What I mean is that we can't just sit and wait for him to do miracles. We all have to be active here and help him. Even though he has to do most of the job.

Ah, apologies then.
I'm used to working with a different philosophy. With the GBG my role was one of guiding peoples' enthusiasm rather than having to force their enthusiasm by my own effort, and that worked really well.
I would try to be more active, but I created this Guild just before university and set it up with the idea that it would run itself through mutual agreement, and dissolve naturally if it ever lost its purpose.
Perhaps I was naive to believe that by setting up the rules, processes and political mechanism the Guild would move by itself. It worked with the British Guild, but that could just be fluke.
Give me suggestions, and I shall be active in putting them into place. But remember, as a Union of National Guilds, you are the leaders and I am your administrator.
If this Guild becomes led by a single person rather than by the input of the various nations, that its whole purpose will be undermined, I believe.

I believe this kind of strategy works rather easily with national guilds. People find subjects to talk about more easily and are happy to find "fellow citizens" in Gaia, which is dominated by Americans (as we all know). In this guild, then again, people don't really know what to talk about (or that's what I believe), and I think many believe this is a very official guild where you are not allowed or supposed to talk about things concerning everyday life. And I guess it's enough for most people to have these kind of discussions in their own national guilds. I don't know, this is just speculation. We need interesting topics here, maybe some contests and perhaps games to attract people.

Games! I like games. I wonder if it would work with how few people are here right now, though. It's worth a try.
And sorry for my, er... not-being-here. But I'm back now! biggrin
