In a lush forest that seemed to stretch on for forever, it was as quiet as ever. A crystal clear river sliced through the beautiful landscape and by that river was a lovely foreget-me-not by the name of Maetasa.
She looked down into the almost still waters with her vivid blue eyes and sighed softly. Her long ears twitched slightly as a gentle breeze ruffled her silky fur. The trees swayed rythmically as the warm draft of air whispered through it's bright leaves. The trees almost seemed to tilt to the side just to shade her as the exotic flowers all about the land seemed to smile up at her.
The sun was shining above brightly, but most of it's incadesance was blocked by the tops of the leafy trees. A sliver of sunshine cast a brilliant glow on her menacing horns.
Yes, today was just another day in the forest. Why couldn't something new ever happen?

Not only was she in high spirits, but the day seemed to feel her happiness as the sun shone cheerily upon her azure coat. Her mind kept returning to that special moment in the soft, quiet meadows not too far from this lush forest.
She paused, however, ears twitching, when she scent an unfamiliar scent. The scent of a new FMN piqued her curiosity, and she headed toward it cautiously. Maybe she could finally make another new friend? A smile spread like wildfire across her face as she began to pick up her pace towards meeting someone new.

Moving slowly through the forest (which was much less dense then the previous one he'd been in Syon noted, as he unintentionally avoided most of the dappled light scattered around, sticking closer to the shadowed trunks.) He could hear the soft trickle of a stream up ahead. Thinking how nice it would be to finally be able to wash the dried blood that was spattered around his mouth from his last feeding, he made a beeline towards the sound. Being upwind from the other FMNs he hadn’t noticed the others presence, and slowed his walk at the sight of the new aqua FMN. Hesitating a moment before heading forward, well, if she didn’t like his presence, she was more than welcome to move to somewhere else he figured.

Maetasa's ear twitched slightly as she noticed another FMN come to the stream. Her two tails swished to and fro as she turned her head away. He didn't look all too friendly to her for some reason. Mae had simply decided to ignore him, not even look at him, he seemed like the kind of FMN that would sneer at you if you gave him a funny look. Yes, stereotyping was quite a horrible thing, but she wasn't looking for trouble.
She let out a soft, dreamy sigh as she continued to listen to the sound of water washing over smooth rocks that jutted out from the river's bottom. Being around water always seemed to soothe her, she didn't know why exactly, but it matched the color of her silky fur.

She dashed out into the open clearing to find a clear, sparkling stream with an adult female FMN that nearly blended in with it staring out into space. She cocked her head a bit, trying not to laugh at the strange sight, and glanced about her surroundings when she spotted someone quite familiar. As such, a scarlet stream of red spread across her face.
Tails twitching excitedly at the prospect of meeting someone new and seeing her definitely-not-a-crush-but-true-love, she slowly approached the daydreaming female, who's fur matched her own, if lighter. Pink-painted paws stepped lightly across the ground, wings fanning out to give her a slight hover as she pratically glided towards the other Forget-Me-Not... and of course, to Syon.

Ruffling his wings slightly at the sight of Kazilu he speed his walk slightly, determining if she was there it wouldn’t be too terrible – meeting someone new that is. Closer to the two Syon glanced at the other, teal FMN, finally actually looking at her. She seemed… Well, a bit spaced out. Deciding to simply ignore her all together for now he headed towards Kazilu, licking her cheek in a greeting.

Mae's ear twitched yet again as she heard another Forget-Me-Not approaching. She had remembered the vast forest as peaceful and nearly void of other Forget-Me-Nots. It wasn't that she was anti-social, she was actually quite the social butterfly...if she ever got the chance to actually speak with another Forget-Me-Not. But now didn't seem like the greatest time to mingle.
There was a Forget-Me-Not that looked like a killer a few feet away from her and another one sneaking up behind her. This was most certainly, not the greatest time to mingle.
She glanced over at the other two Forget-Me-Nots and her eyes seemed to flash as she saw the scary male lick the other's cheek. She amediatly jumped to conclusions and sighed once again, What a lovely couple...

Kazilu just about burned red enough to scorch the forest on fire, but she licked Syon's cheek in return, holding back a giggle of delight. Nuzzling him, she returned her gaze to the soft, baby blue female adult in front of them. "Hello," she greeted, a friendly spark in her dancing pink eyes. The other female seemed to gaze off into wonderland again, however, so she wasn't sure if the stream-colored female had even heard her greeting. Cuddling against Syon--wow, it felt great to see him again; she felt that leaving him for even a small thing as a day was too long--with a happy glint in her pale, she greeted Syon with a lick on his own cheek (also meant as a slight revenge for embarrassing her.)
"Syon, how have you been? I missed you," she whispered against his ear. Tails flicking in a sign to show that she was nervous (and obviously quite lovesick), she, again, returned her attention to the female FMN. Why was she so quiet? As far as she knew, most of the females she met were very talkative, and this female was a new breed--the breed that didn't talk. A lot. Mentally shrugging, she finally let out a soft, tinkling laugh, unable to hold it back in any longer.

Syon twitched an ear at Kazilu’s whispered words, her soft breath tickling his fur. A faint blush colored his cheeks, slightly embarrassed by her open show of affection – Not that he much minded, at least if it was Kazilu. Again he focused his attention on the new face as Kazilu greeted her. She didn’t seem too talkative, and it was almost humorous to him that she wasn’t, he was too used to others being loud and sociable (He gave a sidelong glance at Kazilu). He played with the idea of simply, and of course accidentally, pushing the quiet adult into the water she sat next too. Eyes glinted in amusement – he bet she’d have something to say then. “What’s your name?” He nodded his head towards the teal adult trying to indicate he was, at least trying, to speak to her.

Maetasa's glanced over at the couple with her clear blue eyes and smiled slightly, "Hullo," She hesitated for only a heartbeat before deciding to introducing herself to the seemingly happy FMN and the other...frightening one, "I'm Maetasa. It's a pleasure you meet you strangers."
Her tail jerked in a rather awkward motion as she gave the male FMN a withering look, "Whatever it is you're planning...or evening imagining, don't. You. Dare." She let out a sigh before returning to her calm demeanor and seemed to straighten up a bit. She stretched out her a wings a bit, "Fine day, don't you two think?"

O...kay... this FMN was very strange, Kazilu figured. She glanced back and forth between Syon and her, and cocked her head, a confused look crossing over her happy one. "Uh... It's a great day," she agreed, and added, "By the way, I'm Kazilu." She looked to Syon with a question in her eyes and then shrugged. "I don't know what you have against him, but he won't hurt you. I think." Well, she doubted Syon would hurt anyone in front of her, but she... well, maybe that was her love speaking for her. Ah, the joys of naivete that comes with love.
"What's your name, friend?" she finally asked, feeling a slight tension and wanting to break it. She didn't want to harbor any ill feelings, but this female was very elusive, and the soft blue female also didn't seem to like Syon very much. Well, that was fine for Kazilu; Syon was hers, but couldn't she have been a little more polite to him? Her eyes scrunched together as she tried to figure out what exactly Syon had done to the teal FMN, knowing it would bother her all day to figure out just what was wrong. In her opinion, Syon was a perfectly handsome, perfectly fine FMN, but then again, that was just her. She frowned as she struggled to comprehend just what exactly it was that she missed.

Syon gave Mae a sneer to match her withering look. “Yes, fine day indeed, isn’t it?” His voice took on more of a haughty edge, eyes never leaving Mae’s. “Its Syon by the way.” Moving gracefully towards the water he chose to ignore the other completely. Let Kazilu be friends with her if she wished, he’d tolerate her then, but he didn’t have to like her. Something about her bugged him – the way she seemed too detached. Keeping a close watch over the two - he refused to let Kazilu out of his sight while she was still near the other – he moved closer to the edge of a shallower part of the river, carefully putting one black paw in, fallowed by another, until all four legs were in, claws digging deep into the slippery bottom to keep balance.

Maetasa gave the female a withering look this time and sneered, "It's poor etiquette to not listen when others speak. I've already introduced myself, must iI do it again? Maetasa." She said her name rather slowly and rolled her eyes and continued to look down at the water, this time with a rather annoyed lookon her face.
Mae disliked the younger generations. Frolicking about without a worry in the world, oblivious to the dangers about them, poor manners, and their little love affairs and many other things of the sort.
She watched the other two out of the corners of her eyes. She thought it cute of the couple, how they had greeted eachother and blushed.

"I..." she began, feeling somehow totally rejected. Being extremely happy only to be scorned completely blew away her joy demeanor, and she bit her lip to keep from tearing up. She hadn't meant to not hear Maetasa's name earlier, she just was feeling fairly joyful--truly content--for once, and then this cruel female up and shot it down. Angry and sad all at once, she finally growled out. "Okay, Maetasa, but you never really introduced yourself, last I remember." She was annoyed too, and then a tear fell, streaming down her cheek.
She wasn't too used to sarcastic comments like that, though Syon was a slight exception--actually, he hadn't really even been that mean to her, and to see it upfront and thrown right in her face really hurt. Frustrated, she, too, made her way towards the small river, feeling that if she drank something cool and sweet she'd calm down a little. She was an arrogant adult, she was, and thought she knew what was best in the world. Well, it was all her fault if she couldn't find happiness, Kazilu thought to herself stubbornly. At least I have a better view of life, to be able to enjoy even the simplest of things! Bending, she took a large gulp of water, feeling the other tear fall, and then she dried her eyes with rapid blinks.
