After seven years furuba is finally done at 136 chapters! In 23 volumes. Just wow. I'm still amazed!
So how many of you guys have actually finished it? I've only read up to chapter 131 (the last chapter in volume 22). I'm not gonna give any spoilers or anything but I just wanted to acknowledge that Takaya-sensei has completed a wonderful story and work of art.
And anyone notice her art has three stages? Momiji grew up so fast too! cry

Yep I've read it all. I should hopefully have chapter 135 finished by this week and will be working on 136 after the 19th. (Dreading the thought of having to do 50 pages. T.T)
Personally I was a little disapointed by the ending plotwise, it became too KyoRu heavy and neglected Tohru's interaction with the others.

I have read up only to volume 14, but I plan to get volume 15 some time this month. I have also noticed that her art has changed, but I guess she goes through another transformation before she completes her series because I have only noticed the first one.

Yeah, I totally noticed her change in style too, if you compare book 11's art to 1 or 2(that's where I first really saw the change), it is so different, the characters are so much more mature-looking. She aged them so well^^ I saw that the first books are drawn kind of in that 'typical', or rather, stereotypical, shojo way, but she's really developed her own style over the years! I like it, and I love how Momiji looks older nowadays, he's just all the more huggable!

I'm only up to vol 18 but I already kinda spoiled myself on the later chapters but its all good either way.
Gosh,it sux that it ended but then again,it was a good thing cuz it was quite a great series to really enjoy

I figured it would do that, focus more on Kyou and Tohru...But it makes sense, I mean they're all lovey and everyone else has their own thing....Except Momiji...that I've seen!! crying Momji is my favorite next to Akito so I'm really hoping something good happens with him but so far it doesn't seem like anything will... crying
But it was a brilliant series and brilliant series always end before they get over done mrgreen I'll be sad not to have any more new chapters to read though I think everyone will though. sad

The KyoRu filler chapters could've been used to cover things like Momiji and Momo, why Kureno was freed first and why it was the Sohmas that were cursed. At least the images in the final chapter made up for the plot disapointment.
