im 18 and im already 40yrs old.... my local classic rock stations are starting to play metallica!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! IM TOO YOUNG TO BE THIS OLD!!!!

Well, Metallica was already making music before you were born weren't they? Not classic rock but Metallica is classic. They're not exactly new anymore.

Hi, I'm new and this is my first post in the guild. cool
I used to listen to Metallica a little back in high school (grad. in '86), but didn't really get into their stuff until about '97. I got real sick and listening to their music helped me get better. Now I'm a big fan, not extreme or anything, but I do love their music. It's incredible!

i hear MetallicA all the time on the radio. they're a good band, and therefore will be played often.

no matter wat metallica will..in my opiion...always b the best rock band ever and will always rock with all of trheir songs

as for their music being played on the radio. thats not new...
their old work is better than their new stuff but the still kick a.ss!!

I do like the older stuff better. A lot of their older stuff seems a little heavier and kind of gritty. With better technology nowadays i think it makes their newer stuff sound a little cleaner and smoother.
