It could be bad if they decide to try and continue the same thing, but if they go in a new direction, who knows?
I haven't heard that confirmed yet. What has been confirmed are two movies, probably straight-to-DVD on SG1. The first is a climax to the Ori storyline and the second one is rumoured to deal with time travel.
