I didn't see a intro thread, so I thought I'd post my own. I figured it'd give me a chance to introduce myself plus I could ask whatever questions I wanted ^^;
A little about me~ I'm female, 23 years old, married, and love love LOVE all dolls ^^ I like ball joint dolls in general, although most of them are way out of my price range. Pullips I think are absolutely adorable (typical BJDs I consider lovely and beautiful, but Pullips are cute and adorable) plus they're more within my price range ^^ The first ones that I will recieve are the mini Lan Ai and Lan Ake ^^ (I expected them around Thanksgiving, but hubby insisted that since they're technically a Christmas present, I can't have them till then ;___; ) Depending on how much I fall in love with these two will determine whether or not I start to collect the minis seriously ^^; I'm trying to save up to buy a full sized one. The ones that I really have my eye on are Rida (who Brian also likes) Chill, and Zoura for the Pullips, Missionary for the Taeyangs, and Fiori for the Dals. A part of me also wants to collect the Rozen Maiden set... although I don't know how feasable that is >_> (especially Sougentou *___* She's so pretty~)
Umm... questions I have....
I'm really interested in customizing dolls ^^ I'm just starting with it now, so any information anyone can give me would be really great~ I plan on doing some custom Pullips, although I plan to start with Bratz and Barbies first (much cheaper for practice, you know) The main question I have right now, is there anyway to remove the original make up on the dolls? And if there is, will it also work on Barbies? Eventually I'll have to ask more specific questions pertaining to Pullips like how do you remove the hair and open the head (I've heard that it can be done easily)

Oh yeah... Where do people typically like to buy these dolls? I've been looking mostly on e-bay as well as pullipstyle.com (they don't seem to have the Dals though) and thevalleyofthedolls.com (we bought Lan Ai and Lan Ake through them). I guess I'm especially interested where would be a good place to find used dolls. I haven't really seen that many on e-bay, mostly new ones or boxed ones that someone had on display but are now selling.
