So I am reading the book 1984 I duno how many of you have heard of it but its about this guy who lives in a distopian world, and kinda predicts the future I guess you could say. Anyway I thought it was ironic that we are learning about Utopia's and Distopia's... I was like I am in a guild called Utopia and now I know why, cause its pretty much the best guild in all of gaia! I havnt been on alot lately because I have been so stressed with school, my main focus this year is to graduate and so far so good wink

*helpless, slightly hysterical laughter*
'Is it good?' he says. Oh god. *more laughter*
Ok, I'm calm, I'm calm.
To answer your question churrlo, it is an excellently written novel which speaks clearly and with eerie accuracy of the most important issues of today's society. Do you like reading? Do you find yourself emotionally moved by books? Because it would be better for you if you didn't, in this case. The stupid ones, or the people who don't learn/experience well through reading are usually able to avoid being ******** up by the book. Or if your incredibly emotionally/mentally or just generally obtuse. That helps too. I, unfortunately, am not so lucky.

This book just makes us realize the parallels between his society and ours. Engsoc = English socialism. Stuff like that, you can clearly see some relations. Etc, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the book. In fact, it's in my top three. But I was never the same after I read it. Never.
Also, YAY! ROASTED MARSHMALLOWS!!!!
