He had not seen the boy after the day that they had successfully captured the demon child. It had been days of people coming in and out of the east wing where it was. Not once did he try to pay a visit. He had noticed how the air thinned when he was within the same room. His mere presence provoked something and it was easier to take it down when it wasn’t as furious when he was around.
The door creaked open and slammed closed behind him. Then, his gaze fell at the far wall inside the darkened room. He didn’t need any light to know that it was looking straight at him.
Imprisoned like a criminal. Chained like an animal. Sedated like a monster. And it belonged to them, to him.
Who would not be attracted to such strength?
With every step he took, there was a reply of soft sounds from metal grinding metal. He knew that it was trying to break free from the bounds. A futile attempt as the chains themselves were made of the same material as Kisame’s Samehada, it fed on chakra.
“Naruto-kun.”
“Itachi,” the name was interlaced within the hiss.
*note* the "it" is referring to the kyuubi...

The air began to thicken inside the room. Itatchi could feel the hairs rise on the back of his neck. The boy still just stared.
"Whats wrong, you look furious." he sneered
" I'll show you once i get out of these chains" Naruto snapped back.
"Listen if i was in your place right now i wouldn't be making threats." Itatchi said.
Chains rattled violently for a moment or two, then became silenced. the boy dropped to the floor coughing and choking.
"Amazing things those chains are," the boy looked up. "there what separates man from beast." Itatchi laughed. The boys gaze pierced through the darkness.
"Mark my words, I will kill you, all of you."
"Shut up, you know as well as i do that there is no way to break out of those chains. so all you can do now is sit and wait for tomorrow when you die."
"My friends are looking for me i know they are, and by tomarro morning ill be out of here."
"Poor Naruto-kun, poor little Naruto-kun, face it, a week has past already, nobody from the leaf has come, they deserted you, they want you as dead as we do."
The boys gaze hardened. The chains made a soft clink as they brushed against eachother.
"No, no they don't, they want me back i know they do." the boy muttered.
"You can believe all the lies you want, but its still not going to change things." Itatchi answered.
THe air thickened more, it had become unbearable for Itatchi to breathe he turned slowly toward the door. Before the door closed behind him, the boys face flashed in the flicker of light.
"I will get out"
The door shut. Itatchi breathed a heavy sigh, the air around the room was thicker than when he had entered but it was still breathable.
"Itatchi"
"Yes Kisame."
"What are you doing?"
"Talking with Naruto-kun, we had a nice little chat."
"Well I wanted to inform you that Konoha shinobis are getting closer."
