Its is now winter here at the home of the strays. Christmas is just around the corner. Snow covers the ground and trees. The pond and lake have been turned to ice. And in the Stray house a fire burns in the fireplace. It is a beautiful season. Pups and kittens alike are out playing in the snow. Parents are snuggling close to each other infront of the warmth of the fire. In the living room of the stray house there is a christmas tree decorated by all the strays. Tis a beautiful sight to see at this wonderful christmas time.

Bayou jumped into a bank of snow and giggled as she crawled out of the snow pile to do it again. Searching around to see who was all there, she spotted her brother. "Kazuo!" she yelled. "Come play in the snow with me!" she told him as she dove into the snow bank again. Bayou was having a grand time. It was her first time seeing snow.

Berry was outside playing in the snow. She'd always loved the snow! Beatuiful and the most fun anyone could ask for. She saw other pets playing in the snow and they all seemed to be having fun. Berry stuck her nose in the snow and watched the snow turn red as her nose lit up.

Bayou spotted the other pup and she noticed something different about the dog... it ha things on it's head! She was curious at this point and wondered over to the canine. "What are those things on your head?" she asked, never seeing them before.

Berry was surprised that the young pup came over to her. "O..well I guess you can call me Santa's helper." Beryy laughed a little at the joke. "Theyre reindeer atlers!" Berry said with a big smile. "I love when winter rolls around! Best time of year to show them off." Berry said happily. "O yea, I'm Berry. What's your name?" Berry asked curiously, her head was tilted slightly to the side.

"Hmmm... I've never seen antlers before." Bayou told her as she smiled. "I like winter too. Especially jumping into snow piles! My name is Bayou."

Cato nervously pawed the snow. It was his first encounter with the stuff. He saw some other puppies playing in the distance, but wasn't quite sure of whether or not he show jump in.
After a long while of pondering the question he jumped in. The snow came up to his chest and it was cooollldd.

Kuzuo left there little cave home and went out to play in the snow. he had never seen it before but it was fun to play in. he ran around jumping in different snow mounds.

"nice to meet you Bayou." Berry said with a smile as she dug herself into the snow again. Berry loved the fluffy whitness of the snow.

Cato finally gained enough courage to trot out to the other pups, nervously he tried to hide from the other puppies in the snow. He didn't realize green didn't go well with white. He watched the other dogs, it was after all his first real encounter with another dog.

Berry dug herself completly under the snow. Or, well she tried. Her big antlers were sticking out. She looked like a tree. Her little nose lite up the snow around it like before. That's when she noticed another puppy near by. "Hello!" She said as she poped out of the snow, causeing it to fly ever which way.

All Cato could see was a tree coming out of the snow in a big brown and white blur. "Wha..?" he said, obviously confused..

Kuzuo ran around in the snow. he spotted 2 other pups and ran over to them. "hello!" he announced excitedly.
