I'm allergic to dust, and my allergy makes my eyes hurt. We have 15 year old carpets. Ouch. I take eye drops for it, but they don't ever manage to make my eyes stop hurting. The best they can do is dull the burning pain.
So I guess what I'm asking is, is there any herb known to ease eye pain that I can use along side my eye drops?

Eyebright is supposed to help a lot with eye trouble... and maybe rinse your eyes with saline solution, like contac solution? And... swimming goggles? XD

Oh! ALso, I have learned that all solutions for the eyes need to be isotonic- that is, slightly saline. I think the mix was 1/4 teaspoon of salt to one cup of water, but I"m not precisely sure.
