Almost everyone has heard about...*le gasp*...gay marriage.
All of the controversies have led to an outburst in support and in opposition toward this matter.
What are your opinions on gay marriage?

I think Gay marrage should be allowed and accepted. A marrage is suppost to connect two people who love eachother greatly. You don't have to like it, and you don't have to become gay and get married. Its entirely your own choice.

but isnt marriage a christian thing. Im catholic and in the bible it states that marriage is between a man and a woman. Getting legally maried it should be allowed because of freedom of religion.

Marriage is both legal and religious, Married in a church is reliogious, and legal. Any where else is usually just Legal. I think that they should be able to marry, and there are alot more important things to be worried over in a country. Like homelessness, world hunger, disease and things like that.

To get married you go to a judge(thus the legality) and to a church (thus religious) there is no laws about the churchhot er than what the chruch laws are.

You don't actually need a judge to marry you, just someone who has a license to preform a marriage. I have been studying law for some time.

in my opinion, gay marriage should be accepted. i know that some religions forbid it, but this is america. in our constitution we allow both freedom of religion and the pursuit of happiness. you should do what makes you feel at peace - and i dont think anyone has the right to stand in the way of someone else's happiness.

yeah it does. Something along the lines of you shalt not lay with a man as you would with a woman. or something like that. Ive seen it before. Not to mention it doesnt help society at all to be gay. We need more baby-makin machines!

lol! doesn't help society at all? seeing as we currently have approximately 300,000,000 people in the US right now, and a big enough poverty problem as it is, i really don't think we need more "baby-makin machines."

There are too many children that need to be adopted. I mean some people say that man and woman must marry...procreation...fire and brimstone...anyway. We need to stop making babies and take care of the ones we have...and since two men can't make a baby...EUREKA!
