Talk about anything that might bear slight semblance to a form of entertainment that enacts a story by a sequence of images giving the illusion of continuous movement here.
By "popular" demand.

Jem is hot.

He pwnz you at teh sex.

Donnie Darko did not impress me much either. Although Emwah would say NOTHING does (movie wise).

but to prove her wrong I say! I SAY! that The Butterfly Effect (or similar genre to DD [not the breasts, but alas the movie.]) was fairly enjoyable and engaging. I also enjoyed the fact that it showed Ashton Cutcher could play a character other than a d**k for brains.

I enjoyed Donnie Darko, but I don't go orgasmic over simple philosophical ideas and social comments that are so ******** obvious that it loses its realism. It lost point for trying to seem deeper than it was. Funny thing is, so many people fall for it.

OMH LIEK DONNIE DARKO IS LIEK THE KEWLEST MOOFIE EVAR

Butterfly Effect was good.

I really wanna see that new Exorcist movie. It looks 'l33t' in every sense of the word (if you could call it a word).

I must say Donnie Darko wasn't too fantastic...although it was very late n I was very tired...I just didn't find it all that riveting.
The Butterfly Effect on the other hand - I really liked that movie - t'was great...but not as great as NED...or Bridget Jones's Diary

Ned, there's a movie we can all relate to, on a purely philosophical basis

The new one looks like its pretty much gunna be the same storyline - only overseas!

Like the Cruel Intentions movies, the storylines were all pretty much identicle, they just progressivly showed more tittie in each new one, so guys still watched.

Ernest goes to France all over again.

Don't u guyz realised that u've just been brainwashed by hollywood into liking a s**t movie betta than the one they COPIED?! gonk

Seriously. The Butterfly Effect was a well dressed, complete and utter ******** rip-off of Donnie Darko!!! stressed

Let's have a look at this shall we?

DD dealt with the obvious theme of time-travel. This was the first thing TBE stole. Then they gave this power to a better looking actor and let him have more control over it.

2nd point. The words in TBE that say sumthin along the lines of "...so that she may live or wateva." this is the dickhead writer's stolen motif from DD. Donnie goes back to save Gretchen's live in exchange for his own. EXACTLY LIKE THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT. eek
Which was made first? confused
My point exactly. biggrin

And finally how did these two plagerists manage to not get sued like a mutha ********? 3 words: "THE CHAOS THEORY." All they did was base a DD rip-off around the theme that a tiny ripple could cause tidal waves. (Metaphorically.) This was of course an engaging idea but was also a nice little cover up by the directors so that the critics wouldn't dub it: "A Donnie Darko re-make." but instead: "A great theory to base a movie on."

Sure the basic premisis of TBE was pretty kool but in MY PERSONAL OPPINION (Which you're free to disagree against!) DD was and still is the better ORIGINAL movie. biggrin

Holy ******** s**t that was long!!! xp
