Kai growled as he dragged his latest victims to his "special" room in the area. He laughed grimly as he looked at the unconscious duo that had tried to stop him earlier. Once inside his little torture chamber, he strapped the two down tightly so that they wouldn't be able to escape when they awoke. He was about to smack the victims awake before Orin ran into the chamber.
"Put that on hold Kai. You took so damn long that I nearly got killed for not delivering your next assignment."
Kai took no care in what Orin was saying at the moment. All he cared to do was inflict ungodly pain upon his current victims.
"Ok, just think about this...the more, the merrier. In other words, capture this next target and return her to torture all of them at once."
Kai looked to Orin with a look that said: 'If I come back to find at least one of them dead or gone, your head will be mine.'
Orin jumped a little still not used to Kai's unwaivering sterness. He handed Kai the warrant on the target and nodded. "Don't worry, I'll keep my eyes on these two."
Kai nodded and headed out once again heading for the town he had just left to make the capture.
"Sheesh...that guy scares me at times.."

Orin sat down and sighed. "Damn! I'm gonna die of boredom!" He noticed one of the captives slowly beginning to wake up and knocked them out again with a small mallet. "Can't have you guys waking up before Kai returns..." Just then, an imp-like messenger popped up and handed Orin another assignment. Just as fast as it came, the messenger vanished. "Oh great, now I have an assignment and Kai isn't back...this won't end well..." gonk

Orin sighed heavily hoping that Kai wouldn't kill him for leaving the captives alone. He knew exactly what would happen to him if he didn't take the assignment and not finish it on time, since he was given a time limit. "At least Kai's punishment won't be so severe..." He said with a loud gulp. Just then, he spotted Kai approaching with a wide grin on his face and sighed in relief. "Glad to see that you're back. I knocked out the captives again while you were gone. What kept ya? Did ya find a cute demoness to play with?" Orin said chuckling.
stare Kai punched Orin in his right shoulder and growled not taking Orin's joke very friendly-like. Then again, Kai wasn't much on the friendly side with anyone.
"Hey. I need that arm. I'll just get goin' now since I just got an assignment and I'm on the clock. See ya around. And have fun.." He said before flying off for the town. Great. I gotta play Devil's Lawyer now...I hate wearing suits.... gonk
((Exit to Town))
Kai shook his head and entered his little 'home'. He then opened his body and expelled the unconscious demon from his body. Kai then smirked grimly as he chained the demon next to his prey from earlier. He was about to begin before noticing that just chaining them on a wall wouldn't do. He took the first person, a bulky man with a scar across his chest and neck, and placed him on a machine that Orin had dubbed 'The Crusher' since that's what it did. He then placed the second captive, a thinner man with a lance for an arm (no one knew why his arm was like that) and placed him on a stretching rack. He then took the demon who he had just captured and hung him above a pool of magma that had Kai's beloved pet skullfish swimming around in it like a pool of ravenous pirannahs. He then let out a huge burst of laughter as he cracked a few of his joints preparing to play.

Orin arived shooting a quick glance at his watch noticing that he now had 25 seconds left to deliver the contract. He shot forward in a last effort sprint for his life. e darted past demons of all shapes and sizes and even ran by his favorite strip club. He then sprouted his wings flying over a huge mountain-like demon with 5 seconds left on the clock. At the final stretch, he dive-bombed towards the Master and made the delivery with only 0.001 seconds left. He began panting deeply as he saw the look on the Master's face and began walking away after bowing to him. He didn't really have any energy left after that mad dash and only took about two steps before falling flat on his face and going to sleep only to get knocked into one of the magma pools by the Master's pet, Cerberus.

Kai smirked as he finished with his fun right before another messenger timdly walked into the room. He was shivering from the sight as he looked around seeing all of the freshly spilled blood splattered not only onto the walls, floor, and ceiling, but also on Kai, especially his face. What scared the messenger even more was the dark grin that Kai now had plastered on his face as he dealt with a few entrails of his victims. He had barely noticed the messenger, but when the little guy spoke up, Kai rolled an eye to him which nearly caused the messenger to wet himself before running away and droppng the next assignment. He then picked up the paper that held the details on the next victim and laughed finding out that it was one of the so-called heroes that the townsfolk adored so much. He took no need to clean himself off before going into his shadow form and quickly slithering off towards his victim in the town.
