I know this belongs in the Miyazaki section, but I thought it deserves it's own forum! ^.^ This is the latest movie by Miyazaki, and it's playing in theaters! If you have seen it talk about it here, or if you have any questions, ask! I've seen it (On the day it came out...17th, though, it came out a week earlier in New York). It's really worth it, I mean I drove 40 minutes and took 20 mintues to find parking, but It was worth all of that! This is probably his funniest movie yet.

I wish I didn't live in the middle of nowhere. New York city is about 6 hours from here so I would have had to drive that far. Heh.
But I'm looking foreward to buying the dvd. I read the book "Howl's Moving Castle" by Dianna Wynne Jones as well as the sequel to it "Castle in the Sky" (the movie isn't the last we see of her! I don't want to give it away though)
They're both REALLY good books so I'm interested in seeing how close the movie keeps to the book.

I never knew "Castle In the Sky" was the second part, because he also has a movie with the same name. I don't know if it has anything to do with the book, though.

Oopsies. I meant "Castle in the Air" by Dianna Wynne Jones. "Castle in the Sky" is just another of Miyazaki's movies but the plot has nothing to do with "Howl's Moving Castle". It's still an awesome movie.
"Castle in the Air" is completely different. It's an awesome book though. It's very different than Howl's Moving Castle and you don't even see the characters (Sophie, Howl, etc.) until further into the book so you meet other characters instead. It has a middle eastern feel to it. Very cool.

It never went into theaters around here. In New York City it did though but I don't live there. XD

Just got the english version that was released last month. =) How'd you guys like it? I thought it kept very close to the book. *nods*
