Scarlet sits on her bed and clicks her pen; she starts to write down on a piece of paper. The paper reads:
Karma
When you find the person you love, I hope they rip your heart out and tear it into a million shreds. Then they stomp on it and you’ll know just how it feels. You’ll suffer the pain I go through and finally learn how it feels. To wake up every morning crying why does nothing work the way it’s supposed to. To know why it hurts so much when they don’t talk to you or everything they say is a lie. Then for them to deny that it’s a lie yet they always counter everything they said. You’ll know what false hope is like and why you hate life everyday. Finally you can suffer just like me, because you’ve done it all to me.

P.S. Karma, I deserve someone who can love me and not be scared to show it. You’re getting what you gave me.
Scarlet clicks her pen again and lies back on her bed.
Scarlet: Good bye heartache…
Biff leans against the wall of the elevator, the doors open up and he walks out. Biff looks at his watch.
Biff: Ten, Ivan should be leaving now…
Biff walks over to a snack machine, he peeks over his shoulder to see Ivan leaving Max’s room and heading to the elevator. Biff puts some coins into the machine. He then peeks over his shoulder to see the elevator doors shut.
Biff: He won’t be back till tomorrow…
Biff pushes a button on the machine and takes his peanuts from the machine. He then walks into Max’s room; Max is in the same unconscious state.
Biff: You’re the only one I can’t help Max… it was you who helped me learn to love and trust again… can you forgive me…
Biff sighs and sits down in the chair next to Max’s bed.
Biff: Without you there’s an emptiness inside of me that no other can fill…
Biff sets his head down on the bed; he closes his eyes.
Biff: I love you Max…
Biff feels a slight touch on his hand; making his ears flinch.
Max: I love you too…
Biff looks up to see Max’s eyes half way opened; a faint grin is on Max’s face. Max motions to Biff with his hand; Biff leans forward to Max and they kiss.
Max: You came back…
Biff: It was you…
A tear rolls down Biff’s cheek.
Biff: That came back to me.
Max rubs his nose along Biff’s face.
Max: We’re back together again, that’s all that matters.
