during math today, i was bored so i wrote down all the himes names and i noticed that some of the character's names start or end with the same letter and have something in common with them. and i just felt like posting them.
natsuki, nao-both had bad pasts
akane, akira-the only straight girls in mai hime that are himes
midori, mikoto-energetic airheads
shiho, shizuru-both went a little physco during the festival
yukariko, yukino-both had to become bad people just to protect their most important person
chei, aoi-both love gossip
tate, takeda-perverted losers
mai,fuumi-uh...they can cook?
i couldn't find anybody for reito sweatdrop

Because a little psycho is really ABSOLUTELY BATSHIT! i personally think mai is bi(cool, it rhymes^^), because she has to choose between mikoto or tate, and tate is a total loser in my book. oh, and i didn't forget reito in the little competion thing to win mai's love, it's just that i think she thinks of him as one of her gay pals then a love intrest after the begining, cause you know reito is, no matter how hard he tries to deny it.

I don't think Mai was ever considering Mikoto as anything but a little sister (in her "ideal world", she actually IS her sister) but I do really wish there had been some Mai/Midori action, even if only more innuendo in the specials. Mai/Midori is HAWT.
And I found the Mai/Shizuru stuff in the translations of the drama CD... interesting... to say the least... XD:;

Yamino Tenshi I don't think Mai was ever considering Mikoto as anything but a little sister (in her "ideal world", she actually IS her sister) but I do really wish there had been some Mai/Midori action, even if only more innuendo in the specials. XD:; do you have the translated versions of the drama cd. i've reading about it and it seems to quite funny to watch/read/listen to.

I don't believe there all not straight especial Mai, but I do agree that Tate is a total loser. that's why i think mai is bi, because there aren't enough guy characters in mai hime, so since most of the guy characters in mai hime are losers or are gay, the only person i can see mai with is a girl or since he is the only guy character i think is actually decent, nagi but i don't think they would be a perfect match, because of their personalities.

I have noticed that there weren't that many guy characters, I think it's because the story revolves around those girls, so any other guy that mai would go out with doesn't show in the anime.
