Street Punk. Music for the working class. Sometimes criticized subgenre of punk. Mostly due to the growing popularity of exploiting their "style" to become famous. (Rancid, The Unseen, ect)
Its where the common view of punks come from: Painting & studded leather jackets, tight bondage pants, boots, braces.
Bands like:
The Exploited c**k Sparrer Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards The Casualties The Virus Charged GBH Cheap Sex The Unseen FEAR Kraut

I ******** love street-punk!
Best sub-genre of punk that's out there.
Although, Ska-punk takes a close second.
I especially like, and I know they're popular and all, The Casualties.
Lars Fredriksson is great too.

Cheap Sex is good, too. I like 'em, and so do my friends, at least the punks.
And I was wondering, would you consider Black Flag street-punk? My friend does, and I don't know, I have a tough time catagorizing them.

Yeah. They were great.
I've been listening to "Everything Went Black" lately. That's a really good album.

Yeah, it was pretty good.
Rollins was kickass, then his stuff with Rollins Band was...not great.
Oh, I was listnening to The Misfits' "Evilive" CD, and it's cool. Danzig does most of the vocals, but Rollins sings about 3 songs.
And it's weird, The Misfits and Black Flag seemed to become almost one band at one time. They would always cover each other's songs, and they traded members all of the time. Dez Cadena, Robo, and Rollins. I'm surprised they didn't tour together.
