The Irish/Scots go punk.
One of my personal favorite subgenres of punk music.
They use the same type of instruments plus the obvious bagpipes, whistles, mandolins, fiddles, and more.
Only difference between Celtic and Gaelic punk is really that in Gaelic punk they sing in the old language of Gaelic a lot of the time.
Bands such as:
Dropkick Murphys
Flogging Molly
Blood Or Whiskey
Oi Polloi
The Real McKenzies
The Tossers
Flatfoot 56

Flogging Molly if ******** excelent stuff. Good drinking songs.
I've heard of the Dropkick Murpheys, and I think I've heard some of their stuff, but I can't be sure.

Heh.
Yeah, they're a good band. I would have to say, "Drunken Lullabies" is my favorite album.
And Dropkick Murpheys...they're the one from Boston, right?

I hate this state i hear ya man. all the people around here like is rap and hiphop and new r&b and all that crap. i go to a damn ghetto a** ******** school where all the white kids try to be black. it sucks man
