Unfortunately two members of our guild have been hacked very recently and I'd like to remind everyone to NEVER EVER give out your password to anyone.

No moderator will ever ask you for your password. If they claim to be a mod, report them.

It doesn't matter what they offer or promise to you, DO NOT give them your password.

Also, if someone sends you a link that goes outside of www.gaiaonline.com promising easy gold or items, DO NOT CLICK THAT LINK.
It's a scam and should be reported.

I never ever gave out my password and I was one of the people that got hacked. My advice would be change your password on a weekly basis. If they are going to hack you best not give them an easy time about it. But comming to this guild makes comming to Gaia as a whole still worth it despit being hacked. I may have an idea how me(On the Masada account) and Tyler_L may be able to get our avitar's and maybe our items back. If we all report the hacked accounts maybe that will help in some way.

And are you really sure that you didn't give out your password? What about clicking a link that went off Gaia to a site you've never been to or heard of before?

If you haven't cleared your history yet it'd be best to send the address of the site that you think did this. Don't actually go to the site though. I think if you hover over it in your history the address will show up so then you can write it down.

I change my password every ten days, because someone hacked me, stole 14k, a bammi hat, AND all of my tickets (damn them to heck!).
