Building Description: The castle is old and weary. Not many have stepped foot in this relic since the passing of Oblivion. Its walls are still charred with ash, while statues are crumbling to the ground. The green banners have turn to gray. There have been several attempts to rebuild this castle, however, it is nearly impossible due to the tiresome ghosts that still defend the halls from Daedra. They attack anyone on site, thinking that they are Dremora. Many braves souls have gone in to weed these creatures out, but they keep coming back after they've been slain.

Caretaker:Gusafv "The Steward"

Creatures: 9 Hostile Ghosts, 2 Rats and 1 Non-hostile Ghost.

Yuwi approached the castle alone with her bow and arrows strapped onto her back. Looking up at its tall crumbling rocks, Yuwi wondered if it was this badly damaged due to time or if this is what truly happened when an oblivion gate opened. There were men and women working here and there around the castle's water front, but not a single soul seemed to venture any further. Her eyes scanned through the crowds to look for a man that would mee the presentation of a steward. To her luck, she saw someone holding papers and speaking with groups of construction workers. Yuwi dodged her way through to get to him. "Good evening," the woman greeted, giving him a small bow. "Are you by chance Gustaf, steward of Kvatch?" the woman politely asked.

"Why, yes my lady, I most certainly am," the old man said tilting his head up, so that he could see through his glasses to get a good look at the woman speaking. She was by far a very elegant and beautiful young wood elf, but with the bow and arrows strapped onto her back, the steward could tell she was a dangerous woman. "How may I help you, my dear?" Gustaf asked her, shooing away the workers for a moment while he spoke to this new face.

Yuwi silently handed over the letter from Gretan, the guildsman at the fighter's guild tent. She knew the steward would understand that she was part of the party coming to help him rid the castle of ghosts. "There are three others following in after me," she assured him. "Is there anything I should know about before heading into the castle?" the woman asked with her gleaming eyes staring straight into his aged ones.

The steward shook his head. "My, my, my! Why would fair lady such as yourself be wanting to head into that dark ol' castle? Why those emerald eyes of yours are just gorgeous," the old man said taking a step closer to the girl to examine her. "You look as though you are part of nobility, young lady," the steward said, pacing around her to take a good look at her curves. As he took the letter from her, the old man held her hand for a moment. "And what delicate skin you have. I can't believe these are the hands of a bowman," Gustaf said. The aged old man was clearly hitting on the poor girl. "Why don't we go have a cup of brandy and let your guildsman take care of the ghosts eh?" the old man said giving the girl a most noticable wink.

Selene left Seroth and the guild steward and followed after Wulfstan up to Castle Kvatch. Seemingly getting ahead of him, she spotted Yuwi in conversation with the steward, a man getting on in years who seemed to be admiring her companion quite openly. A nervous smile crossed her coral lips and the young Breton dodged various workers and visitors on the way to the two.
"I see you have already met one of our company, sir. I'm Selene and we're here about the Fighters Guild job." - she said firmly, with a lovely smile. Focusing on the task was perhaps the way to get him to get to business.

Wulf saw the old man hitting on Yuwi from quite a way back, then realized that Selene had cut ahead of him somehow. He watched her introduce herself to the old man, but thought that he should put a stop to any funny business straightaway.

“You had better watch it my friend. That bow isn’t just for show, and neither are these guns.” Wulf flashed his muscles, feeling a bit awkward after he realized that he just referred to his arms as guns. Regardless, the Nord’s point had been made. He moved in behind Yuwi, and gave the man a serious stare, though by no means threatening. “Back to business. Tell us about the job.”

No sooner had the words escaped her lips, Wulfstan stepped in behind the slender Elf and delivered an intimidating statement to the steward. Selene smiled and felt a warm glow, noticing how they had all formed a bond and were willing to defend each other, should the need arise. That was good, they would need that extra help.
The bustling sounds of the workers seemed to quieten down as they observed the newcomers. Visitors, she supposed, were quite common here but their little group drew attention to themselves by approaching the steward, clutching arms. Selene noted that the sun now completely disappeared behind the pale mauve and pink horizon and was mildly surprised as she clearly remembered how the early afternoon light laid out the way to Kvatch. Quite a time had passed since then.
Throwing that aside, Selene took a step forward next to Wulf, returning the overdue wink he gave her at the Fighters Guild

The old man coughed harshly as his eyes met with Wulf's in that hard look. "Aw, yes...Ahem...Well, we seem to have a bit of ghost problem. They're quite the hostile, loud and crazy. There's also a few rats creeping around the main halls," the steward said as he slowly raised his hand in the air. After a few moments, a pair of men standing by the castle bridge put down a makeshift wooden bridge for the fighter's to walk across. "You're free to go on in," Gustaf said, waving to the three.

Seroth jogged up through the city and up to the castle where the group was already congregating. As he approached he saw wulf give a rather colorful threat to an old man, who, Seroth guessed, was the steward. "Greetings Sera", Seroth said to bowing his head slightly."So tell me, what type of infestation do you have?"

"There's ghosts in the castle," Yuwi told Seroth and quickly turned away from the steward as her face become a soft pink color filled with embarassment. Why would an old man such as him even think-? She turned to see Wulf standing behind her. She gave him a look that was on the borderline of breaking into tears. Yuwi didn't feel like crying but she sure did look like she wanted too. The bosmer took off towards the castle without a moment to lose. "Let's go," she said, rushing the others along while keeping her head tucked down.

Seroth took off behind yuwi, but ran ahead to get a good look of the castle interior. He was the first to step into the cool, dark corridor of the entryway. Seroth's eyes, trained from the darkness of his homelands, quickly scanned the area. Blurred shapes moved about the dark backgrounds. just like the old burial mounds...

Wulf watched as two of his teammates headed toward the castle. He still didn’t entirely trust Seroth, but the man did seem to be fairly friendly. The Nord looked to Selene. “Well, it’s getting dark. I suppose we’d best get going and catch up with those two, before they get themselves into something they can’t handle. After you?” Wulfstan nodded toward the building, gripping the handle of his silver hammer tightly. He slung the hammer over his shoulder, still holding the handle with one hand, and motioned her to go ahead.

Three rats were those moving blurs within the darkness of the castle. Their pounces came quickly at the dunmer and his unexpecting party members. The first rat which attacked was diseased rat which foamed at the mouth. With his mouth held open, he went for the dunmer's leg in a head on attack.

Selene could only smile in return at Wulf and his gentlemanly gesture and walked in, sword unsheathed. She could hear the rats, their squeaking unbearable in her ears. The girl could hear the first sounds of attack but she saw nothing for the choking darkness was everywhere. Selene clutched the cold weapon for comfort and adrenaline began to pump through her veins. She stood still in the darkness, attempting to see something which would render it safe to move. Just a few more seconds...
