'Hear the voices in my head..

Did I mention joy? Yeeah.

At long last, I'm finally going to see it in a theatre! With a stage and actors and everything. I believe John Cudia will be playing the Phantom and Marni Raab as Christine. I'm looking into them now, but am still in shock. Finally! As an early christmas present, my father decided to get me tickets in the third row, and I get to go tomorrow! Finally I'll be able to add to my collection of Phantom memories.

So, have you ever been to see it in a theatre? Who was your Phantom? Your Christine? Most memorable scene? Were they good at their parts?

*Suppresses another squeal of delight*

First time: London. I was supposed to see Earl Carpenter, Rachel Barrell, and (forgot Raoul's name) but since it was a Monday I got many understudies including Rohan Tickell as Erik and David Erik (wt-???) as Raoul. There were a few mistakes but mostly it went well.

Second time: Philadelphia. John Cudia, Marni Raab, and Michael Gillis. A-MA-ZING performance! But since we got tickets on the day before the show, we had to sit in the very back row, so I missed some of the action.

I wish I had seen it on stage already...but, alas, I have to wait until it comes to LA.

I think that would have probably been Howard McGillan as Erik...I'm not completely sure though.

Ohh, did you still get to hear Rachel Barrell? She is my favorite Christine of all time. Thanks to many illegal clips I've watched online I was able to make a preference. xD

Seconds both opinion and confession. XD Rachel is so good!

At least I think it was Rachel Barrell... there were so many understudies that she might have been one too and we didn't get a slip.

'Hear the voices in my head..

Ah, well she's an incredible one if you did see her. xP
Oh, I downloaded heard one clip of her in the Rooftop scene, and she hit one clear, beautiful note that I had never heard another singer match.. Just, wow. Though, Barrel in the cast or not, I still enjoyed the performance I went to insanely.. .. The flames shooting up at the end of the graveyard scene literally burned my eyes so badly I was forced to look away, tears in my eyes. xD We were so close that the heat scalded our eyeballs.

... Just wow. xD
Elan, when did you see them in Philadelphia? You might have been to the same performance I was at.

I'm going to see it in July when it comes to Australia. I can't wait~ heart
Anthony Warlow (the original Australia Phantom/Erik) will be playing the role again. No one has been chosen for Christine yet though.

THIRD time: New York. Howard McGillin (SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! <3), Jennifer Hope Wills, and Michael Shawn Lewis. This was one of the BEST NIGHTS OF MY LIFE. Even the horrible sleety weather was good, because I was the only one waiting at the stage door for autographs. I got to talk to Jennifer and Howie alone. ALONE. Except for my dad.
