Vehicle Gear
All vehicle gear is here.
Mine-Sweeper
Mine Sweepers are used by the Imperial Guard and attached to vehicles. Sometimes they are large flails fixed to drums in front of the vehicle which strike the ground and detonate any nearby mines.
Searchlight
The Searchlight is an Imperial and Chaos tank upgrade for use during Night Fighting scenarios. While it is useful for illuminating enemies, it also makes the vehicle with the Searchlight mounted on vulnerable to return fire from the enemy.
Smoke-Launchers
Smoke Launchers are used by all Imperial forces and the Chaos Space Marines. They are effectively small grenade launchers mounted to the front of vehicles loaded with smoke charges. They temporarily hide the vehicle behind a wall of smoke and is useful for providing cover, especially when the vehicle is out in the open.
Camo-Netting
Camo Netting is a simple upgrade used by the Imperial Guard to help hide their vehicles from enemy fire. They are often rolled up at the start of a battle and unrolled once the vehicle has made it to a safe position. This tends to make vehicles harder to see.
Track-Guards
Track Guards are used by the Imperial Guard and are designed to protect vulnerable parts of the vehicles track mechanism. They usually come in the form of thick plates of armour placed over the tracks.
Rough-Terrain Modifications
A Rough Terrain Modification is something used by the Imperial Guard and gives a vehicle a better chance of getting over tough terrain without suffering damage.
Dozer Blades
The Dozer Blade is a vehicle upgrade used by the Space Marines, Daemonhunters, Witch Hunters and Chaos Space Marine armies. They enable the vehicle to move more safely through difficult terrain by pushing aside anything which could snag on the tracks. They are cheap and are a common sight throughout the Imperium.
Armoured Crew Compartment's
An Armoured Crew Compartment is as its name suggests, a modification to the vehicle to enclose the area in which the crew operates. This often makes the vehicle much more durable even though it reduces the effective sight of the vehicle to almost nothing. Usually these are applied to vehicles such as Sentinels and Basilisk's however if sensors and other computers are added one can increase a vehicle's durability and keep the same sight.
Extra Armour
Extra Armour is used by the Imperial Guard, Space Marines, Daemonhunters, Witch Hunters and Chaos Space Marine forces. Sometimes it is elaborately detailed armour and sometimes simple sheets of ceramite. They do however, prevent the vehicle from being shaken around so much on weaker impacts.

Jump-Packs
Jump-Packs are powerful flying units that allow units to travel at high speeds. A jump-pack is capable reaching up to one hundred fifty miles per hour. Units without power armour will probably die from such speeds however space marines are the only true Imperial personnel that use these pieces of equipment.

Combat Drugs
Combat drugs aren't encouraged by the Forgotten Legions however they have no been outlawed. Very few regiments resort to them. They're usually used by BSLO operatives.
Onslaught - Increases a user's perceptions and reaction time at the cost of reducing all other mental capacities.
Psychon - Increases strength by adrenaline manipulation, though places the user in an uncontrollable rage.
Reflex - Increases reaction time, but also increases suggestion and vulnerability to psychic attack.
Barrage - Doubles the users physical performance, though causes catastrophic physical damage within minutes.
Spook - Increases an individuals psychic potential, but makes their mind more susceptible to mental damage while they do so.
Spur - Randomly increases physical performance, though may cause injury.
Combat Shield
A Combat Shield is used by the Space Marines and is a smaller version of the Storm Shield. It is used primarily by characters with access to the Space Marine Armoury but is strapped to the arm and as such leaves the hand free for another weapon to be used.
Storm-Shield
The Storm Shield is used by the Space Marines and Daemonhunters and is a more advanced and bulky version of the Combat Shield, providing better defence. It is however, much larger and as such requires the use of one hand and so preventing the use of two combat weapons. The shield itself incorporates a small energy field generator. Recently the Legion has increased the size of this shield so it can take on ranged weaponry as well.
Company-Standard
The Company Standard is used by the Imperial Guard and is part of the main Command Platoon, carried by a designated Standard Bearer. It affects nearby Imperial Guard units and inspires them to greater feats of heroism.

I had no idea where to put this. So I was like "Hey might as well just put it here.
Holy-Relics
Holy Relics are special objects holy to the Imperium and used by the Imperial Guard. They are sometimes carried to the battlefield and displayed in order to give soldiers sense of fighting for the relic and so improve their fighting skills. Most Holy-Relics are equipped with their own shield generators or protected by nearby ones.
Bionics
Main-Article
Bionics are used most commonly by the Imperium to repair their soldiers in order to bring them back to the front lines as fast as possible, although they are also available in a non-military capacity.
Frag-Grenades
Frag Grenades
Frag Grenades (or Fragmentation Grenades) are small, anti-personnel explosive devices designed to explode in such a way as to force the enemy to keep down while in cover.
Krak-Grenades
Krak Grenades are the anti tank variant of the standard Frag Grenade and are used for assaulting vehicles in combat.
Melta-Bombs
Melta Bombs are rare anti-tank explosives that work on the same principle as Meltaguns but are more efficient than Krak grenades
Master-Crafted Weapon
Main Link
A Master-crafted weapon is used by all of the Imperial armies, including the Imperial Guard, Space Marines, Daemonhunters and Witch Hunters. It is a blanket term for any weapon somehow enhanced, either in design or increased power, and that stands out from the other weapons used by other units.
The Vox
The Vox-caster is a piece of Imperial technology used by the Imperial Guard to communicate orders over long distances. Its real life equivilent would be a radio system. It is also useful for projecting the leadership of a command unit to the rest of the army, especially if the Vox-caster in the command squad is upgraded to a Master-Vox, although the effects of equipment like standards are not transmitted due to the need to see the standard to gain faith from it. When using the Master-Vox, it allows the commander to send multiple messages to the squads opposed to a normal Vox-caster which can only send one message at a time. The Vox-caster replaced the Comm-Link in the Imperial Guard.
The Crimson Medallion
A crimson medallion is basically an Imperial purple heart.
Medi-Pack
A Medi-pack is a device used by the Imperial Guard to help patch up soldiers on the battlefield. Examplese of medicines could be tourniquets, narthercium and even pain-killers.
Purity Seals
Purity Seals are used by Priests and this affects the distance the Priest will fall back, either reducing it enabling them to get back into combat sooner to give back the Emperor's will or to fall back far enough to be supported.
Purity Seals are applied to weapons, armor, and vehicles of the Imperium by servants of the Adeptus Mechanicus. They are pieces of wax and parchment which carry declarations and prayers that the mechanism or machinery upon which it is affixed is free of demonic taint and will remain free of such until the seal is removed.
Retractor-Field
A Refractor Field is a radio-sized piece of equipment capable of emitting a force field around its wearer. The field, although weaker than that of a Rosarius, can stop most projectiles and even plasma bolts and rockets.
Refractor Fields are uncommon and are often reserved for higher ranked Imperial Guard officers expected to see combat.
A much more rare variation of this technology is the Reductor Field, which rather than try to stop projectiles tries to cushion them to a point where they are of no danger to the wearer. Commissar Yarrick is known to wear one.
Regimental Standard
The Regimental Standard is an Imperial Guard flag that represents the entire regiment and is highly effective at motivating the troops. It can only be carried by a Standard Bearer.
Rosarius
Main Link
A Rosarius is a badge of honour worn by representans of the Ecclesiarchy and the Imperial Cult. The Rosarius itself is often made to look like an Imperial amulet, an ornate cross or medallion, and contains a powerful conversion field. This protects the wearer with a powerful force field capable of stopping even Plasma Gun shots and Power Weapons.
Servitors
Main Link
Servitors, also known as Helots, are mindless drones of flesh and metal used to carry out simple, manual tasks. Whilst many are grown in purpose built vats, often a criminal, particularly one who has offended the Cult Mechanicus, will be sentenced to Servitude Imperpituis and will be handed over to the Techpriests for mind wiping reprogramming to serve some rudimentary function. Servitors are so heavily enhanced with cybernetics that they no longer bear much resemblance to the humans they once were, becoming a type of cyborg. Servitors lack free will, or indeed any traces of personality, but have a brain used for basic functionality. They are manufactured and distributed by the Adeptus Mechanicus, and indeed make up the vast bulk of the population of Mars.
Servo-Arms
A Servo-arm is used by the Space Marines and, more specifically, Techmarines to help repair damaged vehicles quickly on the battlefield. Given enough skill, the Servo-arm can be used to repair an Immobilised or Weapon Destroyed result and can be augmented through the use of Servitors. It can also be used as a devastating weapon in close combat.
Signum
The Signum is a communication device used by Techmarines of the Adeptus Astartes and Imperial Guard commanders to communicate with command vehicles away from the battlefield in order to access a myriad of targeting information that supplies the user and any squadron they are attached to with special targeting and positional data.
Surveyor
A Surveyor, also known as an Auspex or a Scanner, is used by the Imperial Forces and allows Troops to obtain information on his surrounding area, and if properly calabrated, can reveal enemy movements.
Targeters
Targeters are used by the Imperium and give the users a much better chance of hitting an enemy approaching the maximum range of the weapon. They are commonly used by Imperial Guard Storm Troopers but may be taken as wargear in Daemonhunters armies and on Inquisitorial Storm Troopers in Daemonhunters and Witch Hunters armies.
Laud-Hailer
A Laud Hailer is an Adepta Sororitas device. It emits a heavenly voice proclaiming the righteousness of the Emperor and strikes fear into the hearts of the enemy.

Narthecium is a first aid field kit containing anti-venoms, stim-packs, healing agents etc to get the wounded marine back into the battle quickly
Reductor is a tool for retreiving fallen or dying marine's gene-seed if he is beyond medical care and assistance.
Nitro-Chem Inhalers
Nitro-Chem Inhalers are used by some undisciplined Imperial Guard units. They have altered the gases in their rebreathers to include narcotics such as 'slaught and Kalma. The effect is to make them more indifferent to danger and loss, sometimes turning themselves into frenzied killers with no regard for their own lives.
Pain/Needle Glove
The pain glove is a sort of torture device, inflicting waves of pain upon whoever wears it. Despite its name it's not a glove, but rather a electrofibre tunic on a vertical steel frame.
Certain Space Marines Chapters use the device to punish miscreants in their ranks. Space Marines are well used to pain, and the goal is for the marine to manage to see past the sensation to gain insight or even create a mental link to their chapter's Primarch.
The Imperial Fists are reputed for extensive use of the device, even though their dicipline is legendary. One possible theory is that their use of the device is linked to their tendencies toward self-inflicted pain, and/or inspired by their primarch Rogal Dorns use of the device in his meditations. In the novel Eisenhorn a needle glove is a device that can be used to inflict nerve damage.
Psychic Hoods
The Psychic Hood is used by Space Marine Librarians to protect themselves from enemy psychic powers. It uses a set of perfectly aligned crystals to nullify an opponents psychic attacks, however they are of a very arcane design and are likely not to have been produced perfectly and so are not one hundred percent effective. This was demonstrated when various Space Marine Librarians turned to Chaos during the Horus Heresy, becoming Chaos Sorcerors.
Teleport Homer
Teleport Homers are antique pieces of equipment used by the Space Marines, Daemonhunters and Chaos Space Marines. They produce a signal which can be locked onto by Terminator Armour suits and which enable them to teleport onto the battlefield with a much greater accuracy than simply arriving and scattering. This is a useful piece of equipment, however to be most effective it needs to be on the battlefield and in the correct position, which could put the bearer in substantial danger.
Iron Halo
The Iron Halo is part of the Space Marine Armoury. It is a special award given to a Space Marine who has shown exceptional initiative or bravery on the battlefield. It incorporates a powerful conversion field, similar to the Rosarius or Refractor Field.
Jump-Packs
Jump-Packs are powerful flying units that allow units to travel at high speeds. A jump-pack is capable reaching up to one hundred fifty miles per hour. Units without power armour will probably die from such speeds however space marines are the only true Imperial personnel that use these pieces of equipment.
