If you have a favorite anime/manga/comic/paperback/song/movie/computer game/console game/board game/campaign (which I'm sure you do), this is the place to talk about it. I know that I absolutely have to ramble about it when I watch/read/play something good. And besides, good entertainment can be the best inspiration for good campains/RPs. Maybe you'll find something here that'll spark your imagination...

I have a fondness for all but anime. Japanese culture never stuck with me. Others seem to have a good time with it and so I do not oppose it, I just don't like it personally. It is also grand that this is guild finally has a player use. I encourage even random posts or rants. (hold most short ones for the chatterbox/the bards inn though)

Really it gets sad at times. One culture becomes popular and everyone jumps onto it, it becomes a sort of superfad and totally loses meaning, like christianity! Yes back in the day it had meaning, but now that the public has left it behind for the worship of hollywood, the P-rizzle(I'm so gangsta! *shot in head by concience*) has nothing to do but interrupt saturday morning cartoons with very un-cartoon messages.

Oh, no! My favorites topic has been upstaged by religion. Oh, the humanity! ...Well, as long as I'm here, I might as well pitch in. I really don't think Hollywood is to blame for most of the issues with modern christianty. Heck, I don't think Bollywood is to blame for most of the problems with modern Hindu. While it could be argued that hollywood pumps materialism into our culture (rappers, gold chains, expensive cars, big houses seem to be the new American dream), I think any religion that sitcks around long enough gets its own internal politics. There are power struggles (like three popes at once, for example) and faction rivalries (protestants v. catholics) and other conflicts that distract from the original goal of the religion. And when the leaders of the religion get distracted, the whole religion tends to follow. But all of that's politics. And religion. And not a favorite thing of mine. So, to get this topic back on track, I like pie. Particularly apple. It's sweet and tart and warm, and it goes well with ice cream. Which is cold. Apple pie is a delicious blend of opposites, and you should all try it.

((Religion ninja attack! ninja ninja ninja )) In any case, religion often causes violence and love, basics for many movies and therefore can end up with hollywood glammer.

Er, I just meant pie. No summer camp references. But, here's one if you want one: "So, I saw a snapple of pringles throwing hamburgers the other day..." Why were all our references linked to food?
