I'm sure we have all heard by now that YGO as we know has ended in Japan along with it its manga. You may also know that there was a rumon surrounding the manga's end, a Picture of a knew YGO, a new story. Well that my friends is true but I don't know much about it. I'm posting this thread so that we all can collectively gather information on the continuation of YGO in other words Yu-Gi-Oh! Yu-Gi-Oh! GX is taken place in the future after the other ends, our favorite characters are all older now and have moved on to other things. But don't let this upset you too much. We find out that Kaiba has opened a Dueling Academy on one of his islands... (could this be what happened to Alkatraz after he blow it up?) In the School there are three classifactions of Duelist or three houses... Osiris(Slyther) Red, Ra Yellow and Obelisk Blue.
Our new main character is in Osiris Red and his rival... is of course in Oblisk Blue, like you didn't see that coming. ^-^;; There are a lot of changes too, but some of our favorites... (more so the main characters of YGO) do make appearences. Seto will show up, its his school so he will be there somewhere. Now Yami(Atem) or Yugi does make an appearence I belive in the first ep, however you don't see the face or more importantly the hair to tell the difference. Our main characters bumps into him when he is running late for school, and Yami/Yugi?? hands him a new DM card - a Kuribo with angel wings. ^-^
There are tons of new monster, toons included and a whole new updated Duel Disk. And with a new story a new adventure and chaos too. I'm looking forward to finding the anime eps, because the new GX Opening looks promissing to me. But you can see for yourself here...

There are also some clips offered at this german site, I hope this is helpful and I hope together we can get more information and stay inform about this new anime.
So you know I'm already looking for a site to download this anime or a group who has it, when I found out I will post that information. Help would be nice if you are interrested, but you don't have to. Thank you for you time. ^-^

As to GX, I want to watch it, but I want to finish the first series before that.
Which will take quite a long time. =.='

After watching the opening, it gives off a Pokemon vibe. On how it's more comedy than seriousness. I can't wait to watch it. (after finishing the original series!)

Oh goody, there gets to be some appearances!? Good for a few minutes, when I saw the screenshots, I thought that Yuugi could have been a spirit. *Sigh* Well the Asuka being Seto/Jyoonouchi or Seto/Shizuka's lovechild is gone now...*Pout* (Aw well, I could always make an AU fic for it) XD I am really interested in it though, I can hardly wait to see what it's like...

*cough* Anyway from what I've heard the series is horrible. It's supposedly what all the YGO flamers say the original is: based around cards with no plot. I think fans and flamers could be brought together under a common banner for this. xd
I won't be watching it.

Good for a few minutes, when I saw the screenshots, I thought that Yuugi could have been a spirit. *Sigh* Well the Asuka being Seto/Jyoonouchi or Seto/Shizuka's lovechild is gone now...*Pout* (Aw well, I could always make an AU fic for it) XD I am really interested in it though, I can hardly wait to see what it's like... work does weird things to my head...^^' from what i understand, you've been basing asuke's parents by her hair color, right? well...what if that's not her natural color? o.o' she could be ANYBODY's lovechild! XD the first one that came to mind was kaiba and anzu ^^' but then again...if asuka's the girl in the picture *doesn't know...honestly ^^'* i'd have to point toward mai as the mother XD *runs from rina*
