This lovely thread gave me an idea.

People are starting to hate the aliens for their green skin, to hate 02 for no reason. This guild should start the first Gaian Movement.

We can have sit in-s, protests, go to the Resistance and protest there, We can make a Gaian Movement to help fight for the Zurgs, for 02. Since he's only trying to help and people are being so cruel against that, we should be able to do something, right? As beings of Gaia, we should have the right to do what we want to help one another, Gaian, Zurg, and Zombie alike.

Ever since the faithful night Zurgs arived, they have been treated unfairly, judged, mistreated by getting answers forced out of them. Why can this be? Can Gaian and Zombie sit together? Why can't the Gaian and Zurg sit together? The Zurg deserve the same rights we have in our Constitution as we do. Many Gaians have the Zurg Citizenship, and if they invite us to be like them, whether or not they have plans, we should invite them to be like us. What did 02 ever do to deserve mistreatment? 12? Why are they judged by their nationality, when Gaian and Zombie are not.

With work, effort, and our voices being heard, we can change this awful way in which the Zurg are treated unfairly. I want to see a GIB member sitting hand in hand with Zurg, Zombie, and any who may visit Gaia in months to come.

I want to see the Zurg treatred with respect, to be judged by their character, not nationality.

From Barton Town and back, our alien brotheren deserve respect, they deserve justice. And may they have nothing more then that.

Sounds cool, but I'd be a little worried about harrassment reports if members refused to leave threads when asked, or started getting into heated arguments with the thread regulars. sweatdrop Though, as long as the thread creator's wishes are respected if/when asked to leave, and no one gets all nasty and personal about it, I don't see where it would risk causing any trouble. ^^

One thought would be to maybe create a protest/movement thread, and then when anti-zurg threads are found, the protestors can post their side of the argument (but keep it civil people; not all arguments are of the yelling and disrespectful kind) and a link to the movement thread. Ooh! What about mini pixel picket signs at the end of each post, like what protestors usually carry in real life, and that could act as the link to the protest thread? XD

Random question/statement:

I don't know why, but the zurg spaceships are gone...? I'm assuming they're just updating. Or it's a glitch because of the new towns thing (the only place I saw anybody notice this was the Believers forum). If they're really gone, I'll cry. But I doubt it XD
