spade's [; horse ;] doodle diary
Simple,
I like to doodle horses (and other equine creatures) and i thought,
'hey, instead of just letting those doodles rot away in a corner of my room, why not post them on gaia.'
So, along came this.
My doodle diary.
The key word in all this is D O O D L E.
Doodle meaning, not always atomicly (or gramatically) correct.
They're just -spoofs- that I somewhat enjoy.
Feel free to comment and chit chat nonsence about stuff. It's prefectly fine with me!

Lil' unicorn I did awhile back. Made with red and black ballpoint pen.
2nd of January::
Just a pen doodle of a bay arab with a blue eye. I liked the nose, but, has a tinisy cheek. Oh wells, I thought I'd share.
15th of January::
Hah. A pencil doodle of a dressage horse after his preformance. I was going to make a rider patting him on the neck, but I didn't feel like it. Maybe I'll finish it one day. >< Oh, and I have no clue what kind of bit I made. I just made some evil looking contraption.
Then I did this one today. It's too chilly to go out to the barn so I went on a drawing spree. A line art of a fresain stallion.
Heres the acual picture of the magnificent Fresian. *drools*
Heres the shaded version. Don't compare the photo with the shading, I changed the light source so it won't be the same.

A lil' mare I drew. She's a dapple grey Warmblood competing in Dressage. ^^

21st of January::
This is a sketch of an arabian yearling that me and my friend acually found. We were on a trail ride and went a way we'd never gone. We started hearing these noises and our horses started acting up, which mind you, Jag never does. They were prancing left and right. And the weirdest thing was, instread of trying to turn around and go galloping off home, they were fight the bit to go forward. Towards the noise. So, we walked them around and the noise got louder and more frequent. We walked up over the top of a hill and saw this little shack, which where the noise was coming from. Then, Jag whinney'd and both me an Lee (my friend) realized that noise was a horse! There was a horse in this shack. So we, being naughty went down to investigate. We got down to the shack and the horse, you could tell was frantic inside this little shed. Lee and I debate whether or not we should open the door to the shack, but it sounded despret, so being extremely bad, went ahead and opened the door just a crack. Then BAM! Out runs this little colt. You cound count all his ribs and his eyes were really wide, scared out of it's little mind. You could tell by just looking at his legs he was dyhidrated, because they were covered in dyharrea.
So, we let it followed us back to the barn and called some people and got everything settled. The animal police peoples when back to the shed and later found a mare. She had died from mal-nutrition and they're assuming it was the colts mother. The colts doing much better now and still is at our barn, but'll soon be going up for adoption.
I was out there today and he was running around, and the image has been stuck in my mind, so I let it out on paper. It's such a bitter sweet happiness...

I'm amazed with my shading.
This is the first piece I've ever done and really, really tried hard to get at least SOME value included and I, personally am VERY happy with it. ^^

Hah! I love this doodle.
It's of my friends 'horse' Eastar.
I'm eventurally going to color it in photoshop, but E-booger is a flea-bitten grey so I've been avioding coloring it. x.X

Yeah, it was for an art project, we were suppost to make an animal in motion (the little stream of galloping/loping horses down the middle) but, that didn't take up enough space - so, Roid the Steriod Pony was born'd!

Only my second time coloring on the computer, so I'm pleased on how it turned out.
Especially since I'm poor and don't have a tablet so I had to do it w/ a sucky mouse.

I am so proud of this.
