Anyone? haha. Just wondering if anyone likes/heard of them!! They're music is mostly for people who like The Vines, The Hives, Killers, Cure, Strokes genre! IF you havent heard them go to launch or franzferdinand.com or franzferdinand.org to learn more about them. STRONGLY reccomend them.. check out their thread if you want too (my signature)!! Good ^_^ Happy posting! ANYWHO, for those of you who don't know who or what Franz Ferdinand is, they're a scottish pop band based in Gloscow who've take Europe and America by storm. Meet The New Scottish Gentry Alex Kapranos is lead vocals and guitar as well as the spokesman for Franz. Adorable, playful, and down right sexy, he puts on a performance that demands a reaction, whether for good or ill  Bob Hardy is the bass player who, until he met Alex, never played a musical instrament, his persona quite and unassuming and compaired to the Nick and Alex (since Paul plays drums and thus is always sitting) very very VERY low key. It's part of his boyish charm yes?  Nick McCarthy does everything! He sings, he plays the piano, AND he plays guitar. Can we say awesome?  Paul Thomson plays drums and you don't get to see him much as..he's playing drums and alll the way in the back, lol. I love Franz Ferdinand. Their CD is so awesome and dancey. My favorite tracks are Darts of Pleasure, Michael, and Jacqueline, but I love them all. I hope they're gonna tour again. I really want to see them live.

Franz Ferdiand's debut was stellar. Definately something I've never heard anything like before. Too bad it was so short. -.- I'm just glad that there is still originality in music.

I like Franz Ferdinand which is kind of strange because they don't sound like anything else I listen to. I think their stuff is really catchy. Anyway it's good to try a variety of music. biggrin

I especially like "Micheal" though it rather confuses me at the same time...because none of their other songs are gay....

Just recently got the CD, though I've been listening to them for a while now. Yes. My favorite songs on the track are Darts of Pleasure, Matinee, and Michael.
My favorite video is Michael, though I have yet to figure out what's going on.
I love Alex's voice. Mmmmm German/Scottish.

*Is listning to them at the moment* I have their album and I think all their songs are great, but Darts of Pleasure is my fave. Although.. no wait it is. Their videos are the best I have ever seen. Inspiring... and confusing. But all the while cool.

[Found through linklist] I didn't really listen to this kind of music until their song "Take Me Out" came out on the radio so much. 3nodding So I received the CD for Christmas, and they're a great band. Plus I know listen to other kinds of music other than hip-hop / r&b. heart
