Plot In a world that has been divided by fear there are two types of people; those with power and those without. Those with power are feared and because of this most are killed. Those that are still alive live in fear of being killed everyday.
They are not welcome in any town or village. They have to find some way to live on their own and stay alive. Many people with powers were born into families that did not have power and so they were cast away from their family. So that means many of the power people are children for two reason. Most don't live past the age of 20 and they have all been cast away from their non-power famlies.
These children and teens must fend for themseleves and avoid the hunters after them. How long can they stay alive?(Please send me the profile and let me aprove it before posting. Thank you.)

It was late at night when Delat finally left through the back door of her cabin and headed into the woods. She was careful to make sure no one else in the village saw her leave. She walked a short distance into the forest until she reached her favorite Elder tree. She sat down and leaned against the trunk. "How have things been for you lately?" she whispered to the tree. Delat cocked her head slightly as she listened to the tree's slow reply.

Light blazed in a tan hand as red hair flipped into the girl's face. Had she not needed the light to see her way she would have pulled her hair back. Crimson eyes seemed to burn in the light cast by the fire in Mai-lin's hand. Leafs crunched underneath black-booted feet as the girl ran from those who were chasing her. The red top glimmered in the light cast by her powers, gold and black thread flashing in and out of sight as she ran between the trees. "If I can just lose them then everything will be fine. I just have to lose them..." She panted as she ran.

Delat was startled from her meditation with the tree when she heard someone running quickly in her direction. It was then that she also became away that there were some more perusing the person. Hastily Delat jumped to her feet and posed ready to fight whatever was coming at her. She used her powers to awaken the vines and branches in her immediate area so that they would catch who or whatever was running in her direction. Silently she and the forest waited for the unknowns approach.

Mai-lin stared at her hand as the fire in it grew dimmer. Though she was still running she wasn't looking around, just at the dying fire. Which is why her fire went out completely when she was yanked up by her ankles, so she hung upside down. "What the hell?! She cried, looking around for the trap. When she saw none she lit the fire in her hands and swung herself up to hold it close to the plants, not intending to burn them, just scare them into letting her go.

Delat gasped as she saw a girl hanging upside down from one of her vines. This was Delat's first encounter with someone else who possessed magic. She released the girl from the vines and ran over to her. "Are you ok? Whats chasing you?" Delat glanced around nervously. She only just clued in that she had put herself out in the open and susceptible to attacks when she ran over to the girl.
