I just got accepted to this guild. I saw the banner on my friend's profile page, (Zabuza Demon of Mist) and clicked on it.
So, is there anything you want me to do?

Q: For starting topics, do they have to be pretty serious, or can they be slightly silly and off-the-wall, if they're well-constructed grammar- and spelling-wise?

As long as they are out here, they don't have to be board room serious. Slightly off the wall is fine, because we haven't decided what kind of conversations will be taking place. Once we do, then we can take care of it.
Tho, if myself or Nucleotide decide that your topic should be moved to a subforum, then we will. But that is not a bad thing, nor will it affect how you do in the guild.

Hi! I'm new also. And I was also recruited by the banner (which is EXCELLENT!). Okay, so now, I'm going to post on every other thread here. Then I'll start my own topic.
I was going to put the banner in my signature, but I already take up more than enough pixel space.

Hi! I'm new too, and yes the banner got me as well. I posted a topic about literature, basically asking everyone to discuss their favorites (books, poets, authors, etc...). Is that an okay idea for a thread?
