Heh, this topic just came into my head while I was gaming~. (nearly lost the battle because i had completely scripted out how i was gonna present my first post... >>;; )
Anyway.
Yes, what do you guys do before you sit and game the night/day/hours [w/e] away?
Personally, I grab a toque (toques=love), put on one wristband on my right wrist, put on a watch on my left(gotta have time or i be screwed without it) and drape a blanket over the place I'm gonna sit.
Oh, and put the phone in arms reach so I won't rush when someone calls.

Umm...
During the day I drink loads of coffee (Jolt is for wannabe-gamers), power nap and listen/play music... And then when the evening comes twisted ...

Usually I go n grab a Mello Yello and something to snack on before gaming, Usually I stay up the whole night gaming

I:
-heat up some rice and food on a plate
-take whichever gaming console I'm playing from the shelf and put it on the floor
-pull the controller and system until they reach the table with food
-eat and play. Best of both worlds. xd

Well I decided It would be an all nighter on WoW to get to lvl 40 (I did it btw, wOOt!) on new years eve last night or anytime I am gonna stay up till 6 call up my dad on his way home and tell him to get me a tall boy of AMP energy drink(keeps me up till about this time the next day cool ), snap on my ventrillo headset, pull down the mic all dramactic, lets rock!
Yes I know it is kinda geeky but It gets kinda boring when you are lonely rolleyes
-mr rpg- I thought Jolt Hasn't been around since like the 80's?

Jolt ain't that bad. Damn big container though, didn't fit in my bag with all the rest of the crap I had in there.

Usually I just flop my self on my bed and start staring at the blank screen till I realize it's not gunna turn itself on. But when I have a purpose... Now, that's a different story.
Step 1:
Go to Metrotown to buy energy drinks and food (no specific type... just edible)
Step 2:
Make bed
Step 3:
Set up bunker of pillows and bed sheets
Step 4:
Get peice of crap PS2 working
Step 5:
Throw food and energy drinks into bunker
Step 6:
Check all "equipment" to make sure its working
Step 7:
Start gaming

Rituals, hmm. Usually I forget to put my phone within reaching distance, which means I *always* get a telesales call in the middle of an important fight. About the only thing I do remember to do every time is gather up the lists of stuff I need to collect or get done in the game (I admit, I'm an obssessive planner, even with games!) It's always a good strategy with RPGs, I find.
