Gael’s Office seems oddly immaculate. There is some old paperwork, but either than that, it’s always clean. It’s fairly simple, it’s furniture being scarce. It has a row of small chairs with plush seats and wooden backs against the large window in the back of the room. It has a desk in the center, with two fully plush chairs in front of it as if she was always expecting a meeting. Off onto the side is a bookcase pressed into the wall. It’s well organized and pretty full. On top of the bookcase is a box that never seems to come down.

Gael paced. Nighttime was slowly ticking away... too slowly. She could sleep more than little naps at time. Everytime she began to doze off, she'd somehow manage to jolt herself awake again. Her office was dark, but she didn't mind that at all. She just felt like she was going crazy. She tried once more to sleep, tossing and turning on the row of chairs that served as her bed. She dozed off once more and then went into a full sleep. Though it was thankfully dreamless, it was still fitfull. She tossed and turned all night, waking up less than refreshed. She took a moment to shake off her drowsiness, sitting at her desk in silence.
"You're being ridiculous, Gael. It was only a dream." She muttered firmly to herself, taking mental note that she must be going insane to be talking to herself like this. It was nearing time to leave for the Mortal Realm. She rose from her chair with one quick and sudden movement... then bent over her desk in pain, her hand flying to her mouth. She gave a small fit of coughs into her hand, her eyes squeezing shut. They stopped just as suddenly as they stopped. Gael clenched her hand into a fist without looking at it. She dropped it to her side and took a deep breath to make sure it wouldn't happen again.
When she was certain that she was fine, she headed out for the gate.
