And the shop still stands. Though it was hit heavily during the big attack ages ago, somehow it’s still around. Researchers often work the shop. For the most part, it is uncertain whether or not Urahara actually survived the attack with his shop. Of course, the workers at the store would know, but it’s a secret well kept.

As the two entered the shop the researchers who were inside minding the place all seemed to watch them that moment, They smiled but under that smile seemed like they were constantly planning on a way to use the people who had just entered. So much like urahara himself.

Gael offered the researchers a warm smile. "I wonder, might we be able to pick up a couple of new gigai?" She asked sweetly, stepping further into the store as if she actually had interest in the things on the shelf as well. "Mine was pretty well destroyed last time I was here... and I don't wish to bother Kagerou with something so silly." One of the researchers looked over the duo as if analyzing their physical structure down to the molecule.
"Any preferences?"
Gael gave a small shrug. "Oh, I don't want anything much. Just update my old design a bit if you will." The researcher then turned to Ty.
"And you?"

Ty looked at them and smiled. "Anything that might be easy to get out of.... and nothing that will explode on me."
"Oh of course." The attendant rushed off to the back as if he had it all preset.

Gael turned and gave Ty a bit of a look. "Explode?"
The attendant returned shortly with one gigai, another rushing back to get the second since one couldn't carry them both. The first one out was Gael's. The body looked almost exactly like Gael in her spirit form, save for a few small but noticable changes. Her gigai's hair was an average shade of black that didn't reflect the blues and purples that her real hair did. Her skin was no longer gold, just a pure shade of tan. Her blankly open eyes were a darker shade of purple, making them look more like a brownish black at a first glance. They would probably brighten up a bit after she got into it.
The clothing was extremely different and obviously chosen by the researchers and not Gael herself. Obviously her 18 year old wardrobe from the previous gigai did not meet today's fashion standards. The top was a corset design, mostly purple to bring out her eyes with black ribbon crisscrossed in the front. Also, it seemed to be no sleeved. Or rather, it seemed as though the gigai had chosen not to wear the straps that served as sleeves. This created a fold over look much like the color of a button down shirt, the straps falling across her chest to fasten around the back. It seemed as though the shirt was made to be worn that way.
Dark blue colored denim jeans with a few shades of faded donned the bottom half of the gigai. The pants were tight until around her knees, where they began to softly fan out into a bootcut flared leg. The faded colors of a pheonix design swirled around the front of the upper portion of her left leg. The hem of the pants legs fell around simple black boots with a wide heel in the back that didn't really look that hard to walk in. Gold bangle bracelets hung around her right wrist. They matched the medium sized gold hoop earrings and the simple gold wedding band.

The attendant brought out the oher gigai the hair a more of a white than silver but it didnt bother him to much, It was adorned with Deep black pant and a black shirt with a stylish skull on the front. The coat black as the rest and leather coming down to the thigh and on that thigh he noticed a holster for a kidou gun. He smirked at them and then looked into the eyes of this gigai. The attendant ran out a second and was back with a pair of sunglasses that he placed gentley onto it face.
"What are those for?"
"Style."

Gael's chest shook in a silent laugh at that remark. Style... Not that she thought they looked bad. It was just really funny coming out of the mouth of someone who probably spent most of their years out of the academy in a dark laboratory somewhere. Then again, she supposed that she couldn't judge from that. Kagerou was pretty passionate about this Mortal Realm stuff, after all. Maybe it was like some trend amongst the researchers or something. She wouldn't really know.
However, she did take note that the clothes on the gigai were nothing like anything she'd actually have chosen. For one, she was wearing pants. Gael couldn't remember the last time she wore pants, save for the academy uniform. That didn't count. And these were tight denim pants... jeans... What, were skirts really that out of fashion? And that top! Gael never wore short sleeves. Well, not anymore at least. It was uncomfortable to imagine wearing a no sleeved top. She just had to keep reminding herself that the reason she covered her arms wasn't present on her gigai.
With an appreciative smile, she carefully took the gigai from the researcher and climbed in. Which was a weird thing to think about... climbing into a body... but oh well. She flexed it, tested the movement. Fingers, arms, legs, feet, neck... everything seemed to be bending just fine. It surely felt better than her last gigai. They had really been working on the whole stiffness thing over the years. It was probably because so many shinigami had been stuck with the Hollow problem on an almost permenant basis. She hated being in a gigai. She hated getting out of a gigai. She couldn't imagine how the poor shinigami handled it.
When she was sure hers was functional and wasn't going to... as Ty had put it... explode ... she turned to him with a smile.
"I'm no good with this Mortal Realm stuff... never did bother keeping track of the reports on culture. I'm guessing you'd know more of recreational activities than I would?"

Ty had already gotten into the gigai and was doing stretches to check how functional it was and looked back at her. "Well I suppose we could go to a park... or something, I dunno I havent checked in here for a while I dont know what new stuff is about and besides I dont know if my old bar is still there after the last bar fight I had."

Gael raised an eyebrow. "Bar fight?" She then shrugged. "Doesn't surprise me." She waved to the researchers, leading the way towards the door. "Well... should we just wander until we find something, then? If so, you're going to have to lead the way. I believe I've already mentioned the non-existant state of my sense of direction."

He smiled and stopped letting her take a few steps ahead. "IT will be so much more fun if you get us lost thought cause then we can actually find fun while were finding the way to... Were are we staying?"

Gael blinked, opened her mouth, and then closed it. She recalled how Soul Society was handling Mortal Realm Relations lately.
When a Shinigami was stationed in the Mortal Realm, they were giving a place to live that Soul Society would pay off for them. They would also get a monthly allowance for food, clothes, and whatever the hell else they wanted. Jobs were optional for extra money and most Shinigami got them anyway, just to have something to do. If she remembered correctly, Kagerou had once said something about working in a pharmacy.
However... they had not been stationed in the Mortal Realm. They just decided to help out. Therefore, no arrangements had been made for food or shelter. How had it gone when Gael was here 18 years ago? The money was deposited into a bank account under their name... and then they took what they needed. They had been very good about having "emergency money" in their account. Could that money they saved still be there? With 18 years of interest added to the original sum...
Gael bit her lip. She didn't look 18 years older. Would they believe it was still her, that the account was still hers? Did she come up as -dead- in the Mortal Realm? What happened to the bank account of someone who died? Okay... so first she had to figure out if she was still technically living under the same name... then she had to find out if she still had an account or not... Then she'd have to lie about her age...
Gael seemed very lost in though for quite some time. Then she blinked, turned to Ty, and smiled.
"I don't know!" She proclaimed happily.

His smile returned and he started walking along stopping at the end of the block.

Gael nodded simply, still halfway wondering about her living status. With a smile, she headed after Ty, then took the lead. After a few steps, she turned back to Ty with her still happy look on her face.
"Ty-san. Do you know anything about bank accounts? Or how to find out if you're legally dead?"

It took Ty a few moments to process the absudity of the question. After that he with a slight laugh and sigh. "Well we can check and see if your bank is still active and that will give you an acurate answer for both."

I only have to look like I'm 39 years old... Do I look like I'm 39 years old? What does the average 39 years old look like these days? I mean, with plastic surgerey and all...
She took a few more steps, heading towards the streets, but stopped again to turn back to Ty.
"Then... would we like to go to a bank before we get lost, or are we getting lost and winging it from there?"
