Ah, yes... This was destined to be here. Just as you expect people to ask you what your favorite color is on a quizilla quiz, you should expect this sticky to just pop up into the roleplaying forum. You know what this sticky is for? (probably not)
If you plan on using a character to roleplay, post your character (or characters) here. A mod will have to approve them, however. We don't want people using goth characters (which no one likes) or characters with unlimited powers (which don't exist). Thanks to Flite's wonderful idea, you now have a forum in which you can post your characters for them to be accepted (most will be accepted) or rejected.
Yes... Now post your character within this thread and it will be reviewed. Geez. I sound like a business tyrant...

A few notes on Lydia - She's from a Psychonauts roleplay originally, but she's basically just part of a psychic organization. I'm sure I'll be able to have her fit in fine. =3

Occupation: Senior Psychonaut - Freelance Psychic
Distinguishing Marks: Lots of makeup, and classy clothes
Family: Two parents, both deceased, and four siblings, all older, still alive.
Likes: Cafés, clothes, writing novels based on cases she takes on, using her psychic powers to her advantage, levitating, winter, females with a state of presence, vintage style anything, music, scarves, computers, big cities, and long hair on guys.
Dislikes: Stereotypes, missions that end up as duds or are unexciting, femenists, summer months, ‘boyfriend drama’, vibrant colours, oversized jewelry, obnoxious males, mornings, and late-night tv shows.
Hobbies: Sewing her own clothes, taking breaks in cafés, collecting trinkets, writing, finding amusement in her missions, messing with the Junior Psychonauts, and finding new ways to utilize her powers.
Primary Skill Class: Levitation
Secondary Skill Class: Psychotranslocation (being able to disapear and reapear in any given place)
Weakest Skill(s): Pyrokinesis, Particle Manipulation; anything that requires shooting.
Other Strengths and Weaknesses: She doesn’t have the best aim in the world, except for under stress, where she tends to accidentally have pinpoint accuracy. She doesn’t get anxious very often though, which is good in some senses, but bad in others, as she doesn’t get an accurate shot very often. She’s currently training in aiming, though.

Hair; Platinum Blonde, dyed at times.
Personality: Generaly calm, but can be set off quite easily. Irritation, especially. She’s not too difficult to get ticked off at you. The slightest thing; from not doing something exactly as she requests to waking her up early in the morning can get her aggravated.
She does have lots of redeeming qualities for this unfortunate fact, though; she’s extremely dedicated and detail-oriented, a perfectionist at just about everything. She puts her entire self into any mission, and doesn’t let herself get distracted unless she knows for a fact that it won’t affect the mission.
History: Lydia grew up in Chicago with her family in a rather high-class society; as much money as they needed, and the social connections to get whatever they so desired. The youngest of her four siblings - three sisters and two brothers – she was looked after and cared for by them whenever her parents weren’t able to be home for the family. This was not, by any standards, an unusual occourance, as the money her parents earned from their job came with the price of taking up quite a lot of time; it was rare when either one of them didn’t work overtime, coming home late at night when their children were already asleep.
There was one time, however, when they didn’t come home from work. They left their kids with a full house and a full bank account, but no parents. They just completely disappeared.
It was at this time that she first noticed that she had psychic powers. She was 11 years old; about a month or so after her parents had disappeared. One of her brothers had been running up the stairs to their apartment past her, shoving her down in the process. To her surprise, instead of falling a flight of stairs, she stopped and hovered slightly in the air, only a few inches above the ground.
Soon after, she discovered the camp for Psychics; Whispering Rock. It was difficult for her to get in without her parent’s permission, but upon explaining the situation, she got in. Lydia spent years at the camp, living there as a home. She found the world of psychic powers absolutely fascinating, and the people who went through and taught the classes enthralled her. She considered even staying at the camp to be a councler, but decided she would be more needed in the field.
She left the camp behind, working missions and gaining ranks until she became a senior Psychonaut at age 27.This character has been approved by Bipolar Tangerine.

Mine won't be nearly as descriptive as that of Flite's character, but here it is. I have two separate characters and I shall post them both here. Hopefully they can both be accepted... I'm also taking the format that Flite used. My creativity is shot right now.

Bipolar Tangerine All three characters seem fine. No one that's overly perfect, powerful, or just plain annoying. Flite, your character really interests me. What is psychonauts? Did I even spell that right? Oh, I'll probably post my character when it's not so early in the morning. *groan* It is very early... Now I'm going to bed. G'night. Why, thank-you. I'm glad to know Lydia is so interesting. Yes, she's part of the Psychonauts organization - a psychic organization that trains young people who have psychic powers to join the Psychonauts. Basically, they're like a Psychic police force - any case that can't be solved by normal means, or involves other psychics (which has been the case lately, due to the Mindwreckers, an organization against them). Lydia's been through 7 years of training, and 8 years of being part of the Psychonauts, giving her seniority. She's still stuck with a desk on the main floor, however. XD
Most of this is roleplay-universe, but it's based on a game of the same name - Psychonauts. It's got to be one of the most... unusual games I've ever played, but it's spectacular, and also one of the best.

She has a sweet, caring nature but also has a terrible temper, though she rarely loses it. She has a fairly decent singing voice, but is too scared to even sing in front of her friends, let alone a group of people she didn't know. She's terrified of heights when she's standing still, but if she's moving like on a roller coaster or Ferris wheel she doesn't mind. She makes fairly average grades, even though she's smart. She just doesn't like to do the work. xd She's also very shy and likes to spend some of her time alone, reading, writing, drawing, playing on the computer, or playing video games. She's a big daydreamer and spends a lot of her classtime daydreaming, which is one of the reasons for her average grades.
Other:
She has a crush on almost every guy, (Neji, Lee, Naruto, Shino etc.) but she loves Sasuke, though she knows he won't ever love her back. This character have been approved by Flash of Blood.

Eyes: Same solid blue as the bars around the screen for the newer version of Windows. Has slit pupils like a dragon.
Skin: Light tan. She has a few scratches and scars from a life on the run.
Hair: Black, slick, to mid-back.
Species: Human
Abilities: Can transform from human to dragon at will. Can see through Orlan’s eyes.
Likes: Flying.
Dislikes: People who judge before they know.
Hobbies: Hand-to-hand combat, archery (long-distance only), flight tactics.
Strengths: Extra sensitive hearing and is good at sensing vibrations in the ground.
Weaknesses: Has amnesia covering anything before she met Orlan, she's actually from the far-flung future. Completely blind in human form without Orlan. If Orlan is also in human form then Avirna can see only fuzzy blobs at best (depending on light quality). Also, maintaining her adopted dragon form costs her physically. It is possible for her to get stuck. In this situation she would continually weaken and eventually die.

Skin: Light fair skin. (he’s naturally a white dragon, goes with the territory) A few scratches and scars like Avirna.
Hair: Platinum blond with a few low-lights, short but shaggy.
Species: Dragon
Abilities: Can transform between dragon and human at will.
Likes: A good puzzle.
Dislikes: Being called out his own race when in human form.
Hobbies: Hand-to-hand combat, archery, swordplay, flight tactics.
Strengths: As a dragon he is logical and calm in a pinch.
Weaknesses: Also, maintaining his adopted human form costs him physically. It is possible for him to get stuck. In this situation he would continually weaken and eventually die.
(This is the best sample I could find, but Orlan doesn't have pointed ears.)

Abilities: Wind is like a second ally, fast runner, has the inner third eye because she has the third eye she can make it rain when she cries; kewl huh? 3nodding
Weapons: Clingons (old fashioned japanese boomerangs that are were strong enough to cleave a horse in half [according to the textbook] they are made of extremely strong metal and are light enough for her to throw with ease and catch but they do get tiring after awhile) she also has a back up Weapon; razors on the tips of her fan give great damage to her foes, blaugh also good for those awful hot days when then sun scorches the ground!
Weaknesses: Absolutely no upper body strength, as much as any other human girl has, not to fond to total and utter darkness, cannot whistle, scared to death of spiders and machines that make strange noises, and above all terrified of needles
Likes: Food, moon light, being alone sometimes, flowers, water, wind, quiet, gray skies
Dislikes: graveyards, cold, being away from vegetation, super sunny days
Attitude: Slidrea is a very humble person very obedient and above all; loyal. She may be terrified inside of tiny things but deep down she is learning to fight it as long as she keeps control of herself. Only cries when nessecary, is no child can easily blend in with humans because of her nature. Appearance: Alucard has black hair with red streaks on his bangs which hang over his eyes the back of his hair is slightly spiked up and his ears show fully ((Spiked Ears Kinda Like A Cats)) .. His eyes are a deep crimson red like the colour of a drop of blood or a newly formed rose ..he wears a black long-sleeve sweater/shirt and a white tunic over top with Cuts In For His Wings.. He wears black baggy pants and wears black sandals.. Appearance:
Hair colored like a bright starburst and skin a soft pail, she definetly fits the look of an angel. Her hair falls just a bit past her shoulders and her eyes are a cheerful orange. She wears a small white dress with white ribbons tied along her arm. Small and petite she looks as though a small wind would send her toppling.
She goes about bare footed and always has a peculiar look. Her wings are a soft white, like freshly fallen snow. They seem oversized on her, even though they are of average size. The only thing thats missing is a glowing little halo.
Personality:
She is quite absent minded. Her thoughts are very deep, although she never reveals them. When it comes to being brave she tries her hardest, even when she's shaking with fear. Being self concious she often worries of what others think of her.
History:
She went through her life unnoticed because she was quite. She never quite got into video games and stories for she grew up being told that fantasys were plain idoitic. But her life continued like ushal and she went on unknown. She had little friends and the ones she did barely knew her.
When it came to rollcall the teacher would ask if anyone's name wasn't read. Almost every time she would raise her hand. It eventually grew to the point she stopped raising her hand. Actually she stopped caring about life. Thats when she heard of a game that was apparently good enough for people to play all the way through the night. If something was good enough to choose over living life than she would be willing to try.

A simple staff she formed from her magic. She rarely uses it and sometimes forgets she even has one. It has small engravings all along it, written in an old language. She has yet to figure out what it means or even what language it is.
