the year is 1592 and in this was the era where dragons and guilds existed.
the kindom heart knights are the most powerful knights in the land. they serve to protect against evil and this is the perfect time to view that as the world of hollow bastion is filled with these dark hooded creatures lurking around the streets causing havoc. a squad of knights were sent to investigate but never came back .Ever since the guild was at a panic and brought a small army of 100 people to investigate and the knights witnessed themselves that hollow bastion was over run by these creatures that have no heart. we decided to name these creatures the heartless.
these resort to using their ancient swords(they dont know the true powers of the keyblade yet). they also witnessed a huge purple castle in the sky which seemed like the source of these creatures. after the squad returns to the guild they are told that now all the worlds besides our castle is overun by these creatures so we are the ones left alone.
