He left because of difference in direction, I guess it's better for him to be happy and not in the band than be unhappy and in the band. But personally, I'm gutted. The way Cass told me made me feel like they'd split up. (I cried I was so upset) stare
However, I'm happy that the band are still up and going ahead with the new album - which will be released '06 and the finale tour in December '05, but what will they do about the drummer?
Yeah, they've been asked about replacements (this is all from their myspace by the way) but they're not thinking too much about it just yet.
Anywho, I hope they find a good one who won't out shine Mike, and once again, the best of luck to him!
They'll never be the same without Mike, but this will give them a great opportunity to experiment with new stuff! Out with the old, in with the new!
Over to you guys...

I was sad when two of my friends told me, but then I thought, 'well maybe he's happier' and then I thought of how cool the new album will be. But Chip was a great drummer one of my favorite's (next to Brandon from Atreyu which I like them both equally) I also thought that without Chip Lostprophets wont be the same but hten I guess if he's happy with his decision on leaving then I support it.

Whow, it's odd really. I stop keeping up with what's happenning in the world of Lostprophets... then all of a sudden people are leaving the bloody band! WHAT IS THIS?!?!

I was so shocked when I heard, didn't wanna believe it. I had to text Cass to find out if it was true (being in the weird world of Glasto doesn't help when you want to keep up with the news in the outside world) and I wasn't around to be all like " sad " with you guys, I had to do it alone
