Any one is allowed to post a How-To in the How-Tos forum, just make sure the information you give is correct and you state what OS it is for. This will help everyone avoid confusion in the long run.
Any one is also allowed to suggest links for our So you want to switch to Linux? READ ME!. Just make sure that the link that you want to suggest is not already posted and that way all a mod as to do is add it to the post.
The Tech Support is open for any OS and for any needs, use it to your advantage, just make sure that everyone is able to read your posts and they can understand it.
The Linux Community New is there to keep everyone up to date with what is happening in the Linux and Open Source, FLOSS, world. If you run into an article that deals with anything that relates to anything we talk about in here post it in there for the rest of us to know.
As the guild grows and expands, new subforums, stickies, and rules WILL be added. so look around the guild once in awhile so you don't miss something.
There is to be no harassing a crew member for anything, one example would be begging to be crew but is not limited to just that. If you do it will be up to them what happens to you, which means that one option of dealing with this is banning you from the guild.When referring someone to a page that answers their question with in the tech support please give them a link to that page so they can read it for them self.Please make sure that you post a title with every new topic no matter where it is located in the guild. Any topic that does not have a title will be ether locked or deleted, the action depends on the crew member that takes action against it.

- Please keep the channel a kind place to be, IRC is a place that even kids have access to, that and things can quickly go out of control.
Do not bring up topics just to start a war, an example of such topics are BSD vs GPL, VI vs EMACS (This is freenode's rule and we must uphold it)
Do not flood the channel, more than five messages at a time is considered a flood
If you need to paste something in the channel please use pastebin to do so
