Wow, this place seems pretty dead too.
I'll try to do some ads on the other places I hang out at.

You can call me Annalixa. 3nodding

I'm 20 (going to be 21 in June, yay for booze!), I go to a small liberal arts school in central New York where I'm double majoring in Philosophy and Creative Writing. This semester I am studying abroad in Stockholm.

I have some experience with Debian and Mandriva, but for the past couple of years I've been using Kubuntu, and I'm on Dapper Drake at the moment.

I have problems with run-on sentences, being lazy, and fishing for compliments.

I'm pretty good at playing the piano, and sometimes I'm good at writing.

I'm interested in batshit insane New Age crystal flake stuff like Tarot, astrology, Feng Shui, etc. I believe in truth, happiness, and the Oxford comma. xp I also listen to music constantly.

I forgot the right adapter for my American laptop in Europe, so I'm using my boyfriend's computer. His Mandriva partition is a bit fscked at the moment, so until I get an adapter for my laptop, I am stuck on Windows. It makes me a sad penguin. sad

God that sucks, well i hope that you get your adapter soon, else we will have to have a moment of silence for the unusable tux. crying By the way you are now our Grammar Nazi, and head of the complaint department, so have fun xd

p.s. booze? ninja Hells yea, party time!!! Sorry if I seem crazy, thats just how i am

Resident Grammar Nazi, that's me!

The wrong adapter was my own fault, though. I borrowed it from my brother (he went to Holland last year) and only made sure to check that it would work with the outlet, not my adapter plug. D'oh! stressed Hopefully, one will arrive in the mail before my classes start. ninja

In the last year I've turned into quite the drinker. Oh alcohol, you wonderful social lubricant, you. heart

LOL Welcome and with our help you won't be the n00bliest member for long, and thats cool what you are studying, I myself want to get my major in Multimedia design. I don't really remember where I saw it but there is a cool looking flash program for KDE at kde-apps.org, if you ever want to try and run linux on your pc, and as for photoshop wine will be your best friend. (mostly because it is free and does what cross-office and cedaga do)

Or just switch to the gimp--I don't think I've ever heard of something PS could do that the gimp couldn't.

Really there is not, gimp can do everything ps can do just some people are use to ps and don't want to switch. I personally like gimps layout easier to find things 3nodding
