I really don't know if this will work or be fun, but I SHALL TRY! *stands with fist clenched, looking into inspirational light*
Anyways. I'm starting this roleplay with some rules:
1) YOU CAN ONLY POST TWO SENTENCES AT ONE TIME. No exceptions. And if you try to be funny and put in two ridiculously long, runon sentences, your post is subject to being deleted from play. (In other words, we will completely ignore it.)
2) You may only post five replies (each two sentences long) in a row. See, I am going to let you follow through with your great plot twist.
3) No cursing, and keep it appropriate, please. Stories that are truly good don't need all that.
4) Pick up the story where the last person left off. Don't just change the story because you don't like it. Take it as it is and turn it into a story you like. Take it as a writing challenge.
5) Play nice, kids. This is for all of us.
Keep in mind that although there's a two sentence limit, you can fit a lot of stuff into two sentences and five posts... if you do it right.

"Ha ha, Darshan, can't you do better than that?" Reigning in his bay mare, Darshan looks around to see Illea laughing at the gate.

Darshan rolls his eyes, guiding the mare towards her. Illea was always such a feisty girl, and she was constantly challenging him playfully.

"Illea, if you want to criticize my horsemanship, I suggest you get Roana from the stable and race me," Darshan calls sarcastically.
"Splendid! I'll show you that girls make much better riders than boys," Illea says, laughing as her eyes light up.

Darshan raised an eyebrow "We shall see about that Illea" He smirked at her.
Illea smiled sweetly "Lets get Roana"

Illea returned with Roana, her grey mare, and mounted her as the horse shuffled her feet. Illea gave a wild laugh and cried, "Ready, Darshan?!"

"For what, this shall be easy" Darshan answered with a smug laugh. He kicked his horse into full gallop after her.

Illea gave another fey laugh and leaned forward in the saddle. Darshan caught up quickly and they grinned at each other briefly from the saddles as they raced, neck and neck.

Ilea pulled in the lead as Darshan's horse started to tire. With a swear Darshan stopped his older horse near the river.

"Blast it, Illea!" Darshan screamed as she rocketed past him, grinning. "Have I proven my point?" she asked slyly as she turned her horse around.

An warning bell went off in the nearby town, something evil had come. Darshan looked at Ilya. "So you up to it?" he asked riding towards the city.

Illea's happy mood sobered up instently. "Do we even have a choice anymore?" She said as they headed towards the city.

"We don't!" Illea said angrily as she drew a katana from her belt.
