*Albert walked through the decrepent halls. The face that the lights didn't work only increased the dreariness of the building. He shook his head as he looked around. He approached a door at the end of the hall with the numbers "101" on the upper half of the door. He turned the nob and stepped into the room, clapping his hands back and forth to rid them of the dust which had rubbed off from the knob. He surveyed the room: a large desk in front of a chalk board was strait ahead; the better of the left side of the room was occupied by an old bookshelf and five crooked rows of desks for students. On the far wall was a line of windows letting in yellow light. Everything was covered in dust and grim. He proceeded in shaking his head again.*
What a mess....
*Raising his hand, Albert snapped his fingers. Rising to his command, the stationary air in the room swirled about him before sweeping through the room with surpising force, clearing everything of the filth and leaving it with a "like-new" shine. The wind carried the dirt out a broken window where it fell down a story and landed in an empty dumpster. Albert pulled back his shoulderblades, stretching. He turned to inspect the wall and found the light switch. He held his index finger under the bottom of it and cringed.*
Here's hoping...
*He screwed his eyes shut, took a deep breath and flipped the switch. He opened his eyes; the lights had turned on. He let out the air he had been holding in his lungs, utter relief playing across his face. In all honesty, he had expected a shower of sparks to fall after he turned on the lights. The local contracted didn't seem all that reliable when he had talked with him those few days ago. He walked over to the desk and sat in the chair. He opened the drawers one by one, looking for stationary to write with. Finally finding a hefty stack of quality writing paper along with a good number of envelopes in the bottom right drawer, he set several of each on the desk, supplying his own pen and a paper with names and addresses on it from his pocket. He pulled foreward a sheet of paper and tapped the bottom of the pen on the desk thoughtfully while looking over the names.*
All right, let's see now.... I should probably start with her.... But what should I say? ...... AHA!
*Leaning over the desk, he wrote in his best cursive to the girl that he had chosen. Once finished, he added his signiture to the bottom, addressed the envelope and sealed it. From thence, he continued on to the others, completing three identical letters in all. After sealing the last one, he gathered them up and walked over to the broken window. He held the letters outside and waited for the breeze to get a hold of them before letting them go. As a peculiar sight, the letters floated up above the building, then blew off, each in a different direction. Finally finished with his current work, he returned to the desk, slumping in the chair.*
Well, not long now before the "fun" begins. Oh god, do I hope that the others show up before too long. I don't know if I'll be able to handle this on my own.

The Letter Kvetha fricia, greetings, As I'm sure you know, I am Albert Zephyr of the Official Legend of Dragoon Guild. I am the foremost professor of the School for Rping - Version 3. You are recieving this letter of suggested enrollment because I or another professor have deemed it necessary for you to recieve tutoring in the field of rping. This is not ment to be an insult, and I'm sorry if you recieve it as one. This only means that we the teachers see places that can be improved, and thus students to teach. In this school, there have been two whole other classes, each both either helping the students improve their rping to a whole new level, or showing them that they are more of a debate person than fit for rping. In this school, we will rp alongside you, showing you ways to improve, and pointing out flaws only so you yourself can see them and understand them. There are three major groups that we will cover, from which everything we teach will branch off: arrow Style - There are two major styles used in rping. Should you join, we will help you decide which you prefer more, and from there help you to develope that style, even give you personal, one-on-one tutoring if you so wish. arrow Creativity - This, above all, is crucial for an rper to possess. Without a creative imagination, one cannot see what they are saying, and if they themselves do not understand it, how can they expect others to do so when they cannot? During our rping exercizes in the upgraded holo-room, we will set several different exercizes and experiences before you the student in order to first see your exact level of rping, then to monitor how quickly you are improving, and finally to see if your rping is able to be understood clearly in all instances. arrow Grammer - This, along with creativity, is crucial. If you know what style you are going to rp with, you are fine, the same with if you are creative enough to keep the others you are rping with interested, but if you lack grammatical experience, you will never be able to reach your full potential. Rping works both ways in this field. You cannot rp if others cannot understand what you are saying. If they don't understand you, they cannot respond to your post. We at this school will help you to improve your literacy. As you rp with us, we will give you pointers as to how you may alter your wording so the other rpers can understand you with minimal difficulty. Please note: this letter is not a command, but only a request. We are not forcing you to attend classes. We ask that you come because while you are learning, you are having fun, and fun is the main point for rping. Given, it is still under-going renovations from the last time it was open to the public in the guild, but all the needed and necessary itinerary and space have been provided in a clean invironment. Classes will begin immediately, and will remain posted so that you may review what has been learned, and the clever student may not have to repeatedly ask the same questions. We ask that you will join us at this marvelous establishment. Our doors are always open. - Albert Zephyr, The Official Legend of Dragoon Guild

*Albert had only just found where the chalk was kept when his first student came in through the door. He took a moment to look over him as he moved toward the chalk board.*
Oh, you must be Darc. Choose yourself a desk and make yourself comfortable. If you could just wait one moment, I'll be right with you.
*Turning his gaze away from his pupil, he stepped up to the board and wrote in large cursive "Rping 101", and then below it "Professor Albert Zephyr". He set the chalk in the metal tray below the board and claped his hands together to knock off the chalk dust that stuck to them. He turned back to face the desks. Darc was moving amounst the rows, trying to decide on a seat.*
I hope you'll forgive me: I forgot to mention in my letters to you and the others that while in this school, you will live your life as if you were in any other rp. In other words, I expect you to rp at the best of your ability.
*He reached into his pocket and removed a pair of reading glasses, setting them on the end of his nose.*
Now that's out of the way, we can move on to the way this school will function. First and foremost, in this room, you the student will refer to me as either "Professor Zephyr" or merely "Professor". I will not stand to be called otherwise unless outside this classroom, in the holo-room, for example. While in there, you will face many situations, challenges, and yes, even battles, some with me accompanying you, other with only your peers to support you. That room, above all, is ment to test and decieve you. I might be there, but not in this form, so always be wary of the "people" you meet there. Any questions about this, or other aspects of the school?

"Yea, when's lunch?"
*A young woman appeared in the doorway. Her eyes were a beautiful mix of blue, gray, and purple. Her hair was long and a deep brown color; at times it could either be red or black, depending on the light that was cast upon it. She wore basic blue jeans and a deep red sweater; around her neck was a silver pendant. She slowly walked into the door and leaned against one of the desks, looking across the empty room. Should she introduce herself? she wondered. No, she decided, I'll wait for more people to show up... or Al here could introduce me... I'll just wait.*

*Albert breathed a sigh of relief as he watched the young woman enter though the door.*
Thank you so much for coming.
*He gestured to her, making sure that Darc was aware of her presence.*
This is Cabi. She will be here as one of the permanent professors. Now that the introductions are complete, I have a question to ask you: What do you think that we can help you with? In other words, what areas of your rping do you think need improvement?
*Sitting at his desk, he set his elbows on the top of it, interlaced his fingers, and rested his chin on them, patiently waiting for Darc's answer.*

Sighing, Darc sat in a desk in the back. As he sat, he slouched in his chair and placed his hands behind his head.
"Well... I guess my description and Grammar in Roleplaying need's work..."
Darc noticed his shoulder length black hair was messed up so he fixed it and parted it off to the left side.

Hmmmm.... yes...
*He read over sheet of paper with several notes scribbled across it. He looked up through his glasses at Darc.*
Looking back over these notes, your posts were rather short, and in places, lacking a great amount of flashy description. Take the fights for example. A post having to do with a fight scene isn't just "what you character does, say something, what your character does." People love rping fights. That's why there are 5-10 of them every 20 pages. If you respect your fellow rpers, give them something to read and inspire them. You grasp the gramatical knowlege, you only have to apply it. Give a long-winded description of how your character's hair flies through the air when they jump, or the dirt below them when they or their foe are knocked to the ground. Make it flashy to the point of being almost too much. That, my friend, is quality rping. Now, as for you grammer, it is actually very good. Of course, like all of us, it might be good to use a spell checker every now and then. The only way that you can learn more complex words is to write, write, and then write some more. Rp with words you find in the dictionary. It really adds to it rather than using the same old basic words. Instead of "stab" or "jab", try using the word "thrust". Rather than "jumped", use "lunged". There is a whole world of grammatical possiblities, but it is up for you to find them.

*Albert turned his head to see who had entered the room. It was the second of the three people he had contacted, a young woman. He read over the papers before him, reading what he had written of her.*
Yes, I'm glad you decided to join us, Miss.... uhm.... I'm sorry, I can't seem to pronounce your given name. What do you tend to go by?

"Ahh I see..."
Darc sighed and looked to Mitsuko who entered the room.
"Hey..."
Slowly he sat up straighter and placed both hands on the desk.

*Albert gestured to the seat next to Darc, smiling warming.*
But of course. Sit wherever you like. In fact, I encourage that you sit together. Companionship is a must in rping. I may pair you two in certain scenes together.... but more of that later. Mitsuko, I already asked this to Darc before you had come it, but, what fields of your rping do you think that this school can help you with. I am asking this so that you yourself can be aware of your level of skill, and also, that once we get into the actual teaching / learning phase of these classes, you two will be able to see just how close or how far you were from the truth of your answer.
