Okay, So A-kon Dallas is in June. I am going as Hibiya while my boyfriend is Elda and his friend Chris will be Freya. My boyfriend crossplays as Chii every year at ShioKazeKon, A-Kon, and Oni-con. Does anybody have any convention stories or tips on Chobits characters costumes? ^.^

Um, I don't know much about cosplaying yet, but you can always look on ebay for anything you might need. I also noticed that the doll ears part of the costume is very popular on ebay sweatdrop ...i wonder why? lol
By the way, the two guys cosplay as female persocoms? o.o;;

OMG that is soooo cool, because I was going to go to A-kon this year and I was going to dress up as chii!!! xp This is crazy!! I was her for halloween so I was just going to go like her because I already had the costume! Wow this is totally weird, BUT COOL!

I once went to a con as Sango from Inuyasha, I was talking to my friends when all the sudden this guy cosplaying as Miroku grabbed my a**! I started yelling at him and he was saying something to the effect of 'playing the part' and I hit him over the head with my boomerang 3nodding well, when we finally stopped there was a crowd gathered around us saying how good our 'preformance' was.

I was at the mall, and some random people walked by and they were cosplaying as Naruto characters, and there was a Chii in there!

I am going to an anime conventoin but I am not going as a chobits character I was gonna be chii but her costumes are difficult to make so I am going as Alexiel from Angel Sanctuary!^^ My friend is going as lucifer so we look like a match which is funny!!
We were going to go as Chii and ( mind fart I forgot his name)

Mhm I went to a convention last weekend. It was awesome. I saw maybe 4 chii's. The only things about cosplaying that bug me are the cost and when people dress up as the person and yet there face doesnt suit the costume at all. I saw someone in a chii costume when her back was turned and I asked her for a pic and she turned around and looked NOTHING AT ALL like chii. I was a bit disappointed ;[ Oh and LOVE the Sango story x] Thats hilarious and terrible at the same timee heart

oooo i cosplayed as chii before! ^_^
you can find a lot of chii costumes on ebay...
but i used a dress i bought for homecoming and altered it...it looked very chiiish with ribbons crisscross down the front any wut not...i just made the bow at the bottom larger and shortened it
but theres this one REALLY pretty chii dress on ebay that i want soooooooooooooo bad!
