The answer, as far as I can see, is a bit more complex.
Firstly, we know that God alone knows what is best for us, and He has a plan for our lives, including if and when (and with whom) we fall in love.
That's not to say we won't stray from that path! Personally, I know I've been in a couple of situations that were probably not what God had in mind...
The best thing to do is to trust in God totally. He knows things about you that even you don't know. He'll take good care of you.
